The French speaking hostess was so attentive without being overbearing and it seemed that the small eatery was mostly locals. I had the Waterzooi (Flemish Stew with beef and prunes). It came with frites and was perfectly seasoned and filling. DH had the veal schnitzel with frites which was also nicely prepared.

Having been regular visitors to this family run restaurant in Bruges for many years we were sad to eat there on their final night (28 September). Excellent food and wines, nice atmosphere and friendly owners. We wish them well for the future.

We eat here simply because we were hungry it was the closest to our hotel. The food was OK but nothing to write home about. Plus no draft beer - in Belgium! There are many more better places to eat in Brugge (Bruges).

Recent visit to Bruges we stayed for 3 nights and found this restaurant by chance on the first night. I agree with other comments, fantastic service nothing too much trouble. Travelling as a party of seven and we all enjoyed our meal so much we returned on our last nights stay and again not disappointed.

I dined here on a Sunday as not many places were open other than the expensive tourist places. There is a reasonable range of food at reasonable prices for bruges. Although the fare is fairly standard. Service was excellent.

Very good food although not a great range. Very keenly priced. Fantastic service warm and friendly very good value. We will be going back, far better than a much more expensive one on the corner higher up.

This restaurant is located immediately opposite one of the most photographed waterways in Brugge, on a street full of chocolate and lace shops. It was small, warm, and most of the patrons seemed to know the wait staff. We ate price fixe meals and both enjoyed them at a very reasonable price.

Excellent, family run restaurant in the old town. Wife Conny does the front of house and husband Peter does the cooking. Amazing food and service. Not over expensive either.

We enjoyed and excellent evening in this restaurant. All the food was good but the rump steak was out of this world, the best I've ever tasted. Service was excellent and although not cheap it was without doubt value for money. They have paintings of Brugge on the walls and we were so impressed with one of them that we... More

We chose this restaurant because it was close to the hotel. Its small and shuts early,we were lucky to filn a table without reservation but you'd better book to be on the safe side.Flemish style cuisine and nice traditional warm atmosphere. The beef stew was the best i've ever had.The hostess was very friendly and attentive and i was very surprised how...
