SUCCES!

When I saw the revues of this place I thought 2 things: I want a giant plate of cheap and delicious spaghetti and now it was a challenge to get past the "gatekeeper"! So, we had a gameplan - we learned to say 2 in Flemish for our party size so we could go in confidently and be that much... read more

We read the comments on trip advisor and we were not sure if we were going to be lucky to taste the food from this place. As the last review said, we just arrived and sat on a table that did not have reserved sign and waited. We did not ask anything we just sat down. You have to be... More

Unfortunately we are unable to comment on the food. We arrived at 10:30am hoping to get a bite to eat and saw that the restaurant was closed, they only open at 12. When we took a few steps to view their menu when the owner came out told us the restuarant was closed and proceeded to close the electric shutter... More

The owner is probably the most vulgar inkeeper in Europe. It looks he's just waiting for everyone looking as foreigner to kick him out.

There's an odd feel to this place and a sense that the owners don't like tourists. That may be so and we probably just got lucky but our experience was enjoyable. With so many expensive places in Bruges it's nice to fill up for a few euros. I tip my hat to anybody who can finish their plate of spaghetti.

Owner was probably one of the most rude person I've come acrossed. There were only 3 tables with customers and the rest had a reserve card on it. I was just asking if there were any seats and the owner promptly responded with ' all full ' while pointing me to the door. Went across to pasta presto to enjoy... More

I had read other reviews saying that this place doesn't like tourists but we thought we would give it a try anyway. My wife and I went in there one lunch time and the place was empty. The waitress was about to seat us but as soon as she realised we weren't Belgian, she suddenly said they were full. Looking... More

I'm utterly amazed that this man just doesn't differenciate between an ordinary rich western tourist and two hungry backpackers who just want to enjoy a simple meal and don't have 30-40 eur to spare in one of the other restaurant in the area. Of course, this reference is not going to change anything since this emotionless person will always have... More

This is the only restaurant in Bruges where you get your drinks in a can, ( if you want a glass, you pay 1€ more) ,and where you can eat a spaghetti for 4€ !! But the boss is a strange guy ( if you don't know him ) , and is very selective about letting tourists eat at his... More
