In a city filled with restaurants it's a a real treat to find a really good one, Raymond's is one of those places! Unpretentious great cooking in a pleasant dining room. Friendly wait staff who flawlessly know their chef's preparation and ingredients. We thoroughly enjoyed the seasonal meal of game. Bravo to Chef Raymond and his Brasserie! Recommend a reservation,... This brasserie was recommended by a barman locally who had met his girlfriend there! We booked our table from the bar and were greeted cordially when we arrived, coats were taken, seats were held out for the ladies, v. nice. Shiny nice surroundings, a buzz of conversation but still able to converse with others at our table, (6). Really nice... More

We were looking for nice authentic local food and were very impressed with this restaurant. The staff were friendly and the food was amazing. Great location and nice for a quite dinner without the bells and whistles.

Came across this restaurant by chance and we were pleasantly surprised. Very traditional setting with lots of locals out enjoying a warming lunch on a cold and wet day, which was nice as you then feel 'of the place'. Lovely linen and traditional service i.e. very efficient but somewhat cool and very good food. Starters were croquettes and a duck... More

We had a lovely meal one ate the set menu at 39 euro mainly game, the other had just the fiket stesk at 29 euro. Cheapest bottle of red wine 29 euro. Service was very polite but the main course and desert from the prix fixe menu took forever to come.

Brasserie Raymond offers a great value for money. First the service. The waiters are all professionals, with attention to detail. You could see that our waiter just really likes his job, and that he wants to make sure you have a good time. Most dishes are classic dishes, but they are all reasonably priced and taste wonderful! We came here... More

what an ambiance and great food in the heart of brugge...you will get delicious traditional food at reasonable prices...not a touristic place, mostly locals were dining on the night I visited raymond....the food is high quality, nothing is left to chance and the details make the place exceptional...

the food was outstanding, certainly not cheap but offered value for the seasonal quality food we ate . Just let down by our having to ask if we could sit down when we arrived and the cavalier 'anywhere' you like reply; all forgivable but a little bit complacent So maybe they don't have to try too hard for their custom.

We've been there with no reservation and even though were able to get a nice table. Food was really good (specially the steak tartar) and also the service was nice and polite. Definitely recommend.

Disappointing visit, spoiled by extremely slow service and staff apathy. The food was good enough, but there was an inexcusable (and unexplained) wait of almost an hour for our main course. A very expensive dish had to be hurried, despite the fact we arrived 1.5 hours before we were due to attend a show, 2 minutes away. When I politely... More
