This restaurant came highly recommended. We had lunch there and very much enjoyed it, enough that we thought to go back a second time in a three day stay. My wife had a Sole dish that was the best we had ever tasted.

Brasserie Raymond has started years ago by 'Raymond' who unfortunately died some time ago. Raymond had the fantastic idea of developing a real French-style Brasserie in Belgian Bruges. The restaurant the came into the hands of people who completely misunderstood the real meaning of 'French Brasserie'. Happily this period did not last to long until the recent owners restored the... Recommended by our hotel staff. Fine dinning at its best in Bruges. Huge portions, you will not go hungry. Rustic, tasty food. Great staff. A meal to remember.

Raymond's was recommended by the hotel staff so we tried it on our first night in Bruges. The service (Ian) was great and the food fantastic. We tried a few other restaurants during our stay but ended up going back to Raymond's on our last night and once again were not disappointed. Well cooked, fresh ingredients and very tasty. Would... My son and I both had the petit sole and chips, washed down with an excellent local Bruges beer. We agreed the butter-fried sole was excellent, and the crispy chips were potato perfection. We sat at an outdoor table and enjoyed the view of the passing throngs....

Went with five others for dinner. Most had the baby sole and absolutely loved it. One of the group had skate and was quite pleased. Having had sole the previous night I opted for Irish lamb chops which were truly outstanding. They were accompanied by roasted carrots, snow peas and zucchini. I added some Belgian fries and had a wonderful... More

An excellent place for lunch. The best shrimp croquettes ever. And then the sole, delicious. This time I took a beer to it, Brugse Zot, Blond. My woman house wine, she was happy, I was happy. Relaxed. I will ge back there!

Recommended by our hotel when we asked for help - you never know what the price will be and exactly what type of restaurant.... Brasserie Raymond is very good and priced accordingly. The menu was in French and Flemish and when I joked about the lack of English, an English language menu was produced - it looked like a menu... More

Booked at short notice by our hotel on the evening we arrived, they managed to accommodate our party of 14 comfortably. We were concerned when we arrived that it was going to be very expensive. However, the 2 alternative set menus offered very good value for money and excellent quality. Whilst majority of our group were happy with fish (sole... More
