Great meal - nice location

Our B&B host recommended Brasserie Raymond and we were not disappointed. The restaurant is very attractive and is located near the Markt. We had lamb chops and skate which were both excellent. The service was very good and we had a very enjoyable meal that was reasonably priced.

Visited twice in a 3-day stay - one lunch, one dinner. Both splendid. Quiet as we were late lunching having arrived after 2pm, but the evening meal was when the brasserie was filling up quickly. Service excellent, and food delicious, to be recommended.

We went here on the recommendation of our hotel and it turned out to be an excellent choice. It was located just a short ways off the square. The food was absolutely delicious (we had Chateaubriand for two) and we particularly enjoyed our asparagus starter.

Nice setting and food. Very busy so provided a good atmosphere. Lighting a bit harsh for an evening meal.

We were a party of eight for dinner on a weekday. It started promisingly with an efficient if not particularly friendly welcome and we were handed menus with English subtitles. Orders were taken, and wine poured, and we tucked into some very good bread and spread, which was shortly followed by the starters. The tomato soup, green bean salad and... More

Our party of seven "sixty-plus" experienced travellers expected more from the reputation that preceded our visit. However things went downhill soon after our arrival. There certainly was theatrical, flamboyant and chivalrous behaviour from the "pseudo-French" staff welcoming us, taking coats and seating us at table BUT thereafter service was very very very slow. Probably twenty minutes elapsed before drinks orders... More

Incredibe Chateaubriand - had dinner here, got a tip from friends. I was very suspicious because finding a good place for that dish is a nightmare... but this blew my mind! Go there, be really! hungry, eat and smile

We ate here on a holiday evening and it was very busy with a great atmosphere. Our waiter was very professional and friendly. We shared a Chateaubriand which was delicious although not cooked quite as we had requested, The service was prompt despite the numbers in the restaurant.

But nothing exceptional, for the price, that was a little expensive, but affordable... Good restaurant and the service was ok.
