Pricey but great!

We were told this place was good and it was right on the way to the Market Square from our hotel. We were just looking for something light for lunch and when we saw the menu we were a little shocked at the prices. But we decided to stay and ordered some salads. They were really delicious, as was... read more

My wife and I were visiting Bruges for a few days, and staying in a hotel near the restaurant. We happened to walk by the restaurant and saw Chateaubriand (for two) on the menu, and decided, on the spot, to have this for dinner. We were seated and had a really wonderful dinner. The portion was very large, cooked just... More

We ate here last night. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal of chateaubriand. Tender, substantial meat with lots of vegetables to accompany. We felt the price was good considering quality of food and service.

Though restaurant was fully booked, waiter 'Bedoin' gave a warm friendly service. We enjoyed really good food, the chateau briand was excellent. An extra fancy touch was given to one of us who celebrated her birthday. We will definitely return, whenever possible.

We were recommended the restaurant as good value and booked a table through our hotel. Having been shown to our table the waiter was clearly not in the best of moods and quite short when in dialogue. We ordered our food and all seemed fine until while eating the skate in butter and caper it became clear there was a... More

We ate here twice. The service is extraordinary and the food delicious. I had a perfectly prepared vol au vent one night, and an excellent filet of beef the other.

We walked in the 5 of us at the early end of dinner time on a Saturday and, despite not having a reservation (and nearly all had reservation signs), the extremely delightful gentlemen, who would later be our waiter, still managed to find a place for us to sit down. The menu is great. Belgian/French, leaning more to the French... More

We had a great lunch at Brasserie Raymond and the food was excellent. Service was OK however staff did seem quiet overwhelmed - we were left waiting for our food for about 45 min and I had to ask for a glass of water 3 times and never actually received it. A lady who was sitting at a table nearby... More

The tastiest mussels around - in my view anyway!! The restaurant was warm and inviting and buzzing with activity. We shared 6 oysters which were nice and fresh, with a great vinegerette - mussels for me and the beef for hubby. Great choice, and really tasty. Dessert was a decadent treat - but oh so delicious. Had no space do... More

We at as a group of 8 at Brasserie Raymond and had great service and an excellent meal. The menu offers choices to suit every taste and includes some local specialties - I went out on a limb and ordered the marrow on toast as a starter - turns out out I don't like marrow, but wow it was an...
