Interesting coffee stop

Bowls of coffee, the smell of fresh bread, plates of eggs and smoked salmon and a huge table shared with everyone else! Coffe was good and I also had the watermelon cooler with lots of mint which was very refreshing. Wanted to go back later and couldn't find it! A very happy Brugge memory.

We've been to various Le Pain Quotidien locations in France and England, but this location was by far the best. The food was just as good as in other locations, but the staff here was the friendliest and most attentive. There are also a good number of seats and the menu seemed to be a bit larger than some other... More

The food was good - we had scrambled eggs - but at 10.20 a plate for eggs and bacon it seemed a bit excessive. If you want just a croissant, or some sort of bread (as the name would indicate) then I imagine that their prices are fine.

The service was awful, waitstaff struggling to keep up (restaurant was not busy) Cook had to tell waitstaff what to do step by step. Average baked goods, croissant was soft with no sense of flakiness. There has to be better in Brugge

The group tried several different pastries that were all equally delicious. The coffee and hot chocolate are served in bowls. I was so pleasantly surprised by the organic menu we ordered the full breakfast with bread, chocolate croissant, baguette, egg, fresh orange juice and a hot beverage. on each table there are 4 different homemade spreads to choose from and... We tried several different pastries that were equally delicious. The coffee which is served in bowls is the kind of coffee that you dream of finding on a trip. The nutritional juices they create are also marvelous concoctions that give a healthful boost. The atmosphere is funky and fun and we felt very welcome there.

We stopped for a quick drink and stayed! A lovely pot of tea for my husband and a lemon and ginger infusion for me, a slice of red fruits cheesecake for him and a lemon tart for me. All beautifully presented and fabulous. We left with takeaway quiches for lunch. Real quality!

Early in the morning this cute little place was almost empty and only as soon as we took a seat it started being filled with interesting people who were just reading their newspapers while savouring a coffee. I was so pleasantly surprised by the organic menu and I ordered the full breakfast with bread, chocolate croissant, baguette, egg, fresh orange... More

A really nice inexpensive breakfast with lots of choice and quality breads and croissants. The service was friendly and efficient and I'd happily go back.
