We stopped in for breakfast while waiting for our room to be ready. This is a bakery/café dedicated to "slow food" which means everything is organic. The eggs were delicious, and the coffee and tea are served in what I can only describe as big bowls. Everything we had was delicious. I had scrambled eggs with bacon and tea, my... More

We chose this location based on Trip Advisor reviews and because we were looking for good coffee. It did not disappoint! In fact, we went back later in the day for takeaway coffee. The menu was interesting and fresh and serves were very generous. Very calm, serene place with lots of locals. Would definitely return here again.

The minute we walked in the door of Le Pain Quotidien, we felt at home. The simple tables and chairs, high ceiling, soft classical music in the background, and peaceful atmosphere were all welcome after the stimulation abounding elsewhere in Brugge/Bruges. We love breakfast, and were delighted with what we ate at Le Pain Quotidien, as well as the extra... More

lovely bakery near the Basilica of the Holy Blood. we had breakfast there twice in a row as we liked it that much. great all organic menu with a massive choice and different breads, pastries, croissants, various different ways to have your eggs and bacon as well as salmon and muesli and yoghurt and cheese. On the table you find... More

We discovered this cafe as it was on the route from our hotel to the Markt Square, originally having soup, sandwiches and tea. We enjoyed it so much we returned every day. The cafe itself is just one room with several four seat tables on one side and a huge 20 seat table on the other. We sat on the... More

We found this wonderful shop/café on our first morning and had breakfast there every day afterwards. Friendly, helpful staff and astonishing menu of everything you could possibly want for breakfast. Also the best coffee we had anywhere in Bruges. Enjoy.

We loved Le Pain Quotidien: which sold a range of pastries, breads and chocolates and also had a cafe, which consisted of a huge table around which different groups of diners sit, plus a few smaller tables and an outside eating area. The food is delicious: lots of good wholesome food and loads of wonderful pastries with very good coffee... More

We found this restaurant by lucky chance as I wanted to try a cup of hot chocolate. This was served in a huge bowl and was gorgeous (much nicer than the hot chocolate I had at Dumon chocolate shop). We went back a day later for lunch. I had a smoked salmon tartine which was lovely and my husband tried... More

Had breakfast here two mornings running. I had a delicious yogurt with cranola and banana. An interesting touch was a sprinkling of turmeric! Delicious. Fresh orange juice and coffee excellent. Lovely ambiance, friendly attentive staff. Will be back.

I was here for a romantic meal over Xmas time, mid december. We stumbled upon it. It was full so we waited and two seats became available. They had little postcards in the middle of the table that you could write on and they would send free of charge. The food was exquisite, the tartines are to die for and... More
