we booked this amazing restaurant online after reading the reviews, Natalie gave us a warm welcome and made s feel at home, it is like eating at someone elses home, full of nik nacks that make it personal to the owners .The menu was just lovely we both went for the Flemish stew and were not disappointed. I emailed and booked a table when in the UK. So glad I did as people were being turned away all night. We recommended the restaurant to some people we met in Bruges but they could not get in - fully booked every night. Lovely atmosphere. Nataline, front of house, is helpful, friendly and efficient. I had spare ribs and... More

Very good quality food, very attentive restaurant owner taking care of every single detail. We really enjoyed the food and cosy atmosphere of the restaurant. Highly recommended for couples looking for a romantic dinner in Bruges. Making sure to book a table in advance.

We ate here in December last year, so the place was decked out in Christmas glory! I loved it as soon as I walked in. The retro feel is totally up my street and it's a quirkly little place with plenty of character. The owner was really friendly and greeted us with lots of smiles. She speaks English very well... I wish there was something I could add that hasn't been said already. The fact that I'm writing this from the hotel after eating there this evening says it all. If you only eat in one place in Bruges, make sure it's this one, you won't regret it. It's small and intimate, be sure to book in advance.

Fantastic! Booked on the strength of trip advisor reviews and was not disappointed. Fantastic service and attention and great décor. A good 45 minute walk from our hotel and worth every step. For mains I had the Steak Tartare and my wife had the Flemish Stew. Both excellent. Looking forward to a return trip soon.

Making reservations in advance is a must for any of the good restaurants as they mainly operate on a single sitting. It is situated about 10-15 minutes stroll from the square not 5 as someone mentioned so bear this in mind. But don't not go as it feels very safe walking about in Bruges at night, The food was excellent,... More

We visited Pro Deo having read the reviews on Trip Advisor and made an excellent choice for our first night in the city. As the Restaurant is very small and the table is yours for the evening booking is essential and even mid week we saw several people being turned away. The restaurant was cosy and quirky, the service was... More

I can completely understand why this restaurant has such a high ranking on Tripadvisor. The place itself is small but perfect for a cosy and relaxed dinner. Definitely reserve in advance as groups were being turned away from about 7:45pm! As other reviewers have stated the portions are huge and very reasonably priced - my mum and I both had... More
