Little spot of true excellence....

We came here on a Wednesday night in January for dinner, being 3 persons. The welcome was very cheerful and friendly, so we immediately felt at home. The restaurant is fairly small (7 or 8) tables I guess, so you had better reserve in advance. The food was excellent, but careful, big helpings, I... read more

We knew it is a very popular restaurant so we booked a table well in advance. I thought it might be a stupid thing to do as it is a low season but I was right. When we arrived, there were only three groups of people but the restaurant was fully booked that night. My husband and I both ordered... More

This was our second visit so we knew what to expect but we were delighted nonetheless. Nathalie was as friendly and welcoming as before; the restaurant is just as fascinating and homely and the food is simply wonderful. The portions are immense, arrive hungry to be able to clear your plate because you won't want to leave anything. I recommend... More

Definitely worth a visit. We went for their 12.50 Euro lunch. The day we were there it consisted of all you can eat tomato soup and bread, followed by Flemish Sausage, Potatoes, Red Cabbage, Gravy and Applesauce, and finished with coffee and a cookie. Everything was delicious. Quaint little restaurant. We would definitely return.

We were wandering around Bruges looking for a nice place to enjoy the final evening of our 3 week tour/ski holiday. From the street Pro Deo looked snug, inviting and with an interesting menu. On entering we were warmly greeted and were pleased to be fitted in -it was early on a Thursday night in mid January. Our drinks came... More

Be sure to get a dinner reservation as this is a rather small place. It is located close to the windmills & port. It took us about 15-20 minutes to walk there from the Markt Square vicinity. Allow yourself ample time to have dinner. We were there for about 1.5 hours and only had a main course with two drinks.... More

Of all the welcomes i've recieved in restaurants over the years this has been the warmest. It was a very pleasant greeting from the proprietor running the restaurant with her husband. The restaurant is small, spanning over to floors. We got placed on the second floor where there are three tables, a small sitting room and a fireplace. Very cosy... More

Absolutely loved this restaurant. Essential to book as its very small. The restaurant is darkly lit, small and cosy with endless character. Run by a husband and wife who are both very very welcoming. Absolutely delicious food, the mushrooms on toast were to die for. Huge portions, we were full after the starter! Wish it was our local. Will definitely... More
