Great Historic pub

Fabulous little pub with a small selection of beers, but enough to have a few tastings. Food simple but well done and not expensive. Its currently their 500 year anniversary so there is a display as you walk in showing the history.

Great spot, friendly locals, lovely staff and delicious beer. We shared some cheese and salami. The pasta dishes looked tasty as well.

This is a 500 year old cafe and restaurant, with a lovely traditional atmosphere. hey serve food at any time of the day (a lot of Brugge restaurants are closed between lunchtime and dinner time). I choose french onion soup (4,5 euro), quiche with salad (10 euro) and a beer. All tasted great and I was satisfied with the food... More

Cute little bar with good beer selection and decent food. We had several drinks and shared a cheese and salami plate to share. We also tried the French Onion soup. Food was tasty and well priced. The staff were very friendly and chatty (a eare and wonderful thing in Bruges!). We visited on a Saturday and the place was packed.... More

Popped in for lunch - spag bol is well -recommended - and were niot disappointed. Short beer list but lovely, old-fashioned surroundings. If busy, sit at the bar until people leave.

We came across this quite by accident. We had just Don more than 6k on a walk and had to go in. What a surprise, about 10m by 10m, very old with a beer garden at the back for busy days. We had the soup of the day which was lovely, there is a cast iron pot thing that pumps... More

I did some research prior to coming back to Brugge for a visit, and noticed this old pub. I like to go somewhere different, so myself and my wife took the plunge and visited last weekend. We were not disappointed, this place has bags of charm and serves it's own house beer...which is superb; you can't come here and not... More

Our apartment was 10 steps away - we had no idea on arrival that this bar had such a great history. So what was so good? For a start it was January so the old coal stove was just wonderful. Then the resident Jack Russell laid on the armchair by the stove, this was when no one had ordered food... More

Great little pub with a relaxing but jolly atmosphere. We decided to stay and eat dinner and were god we did! The staff were lovely and the beers were reasonable. Board games were also available.
