We came back here after about 10 years and were pleased to see that it is still good. We checked the menu online beforehand and so already knew what we wanted! We are fish-eating veggies (if that's a term) and think it is important to check menus beforehand if you are going to be picky. A delightful venue down a... More

I go to Bruges every year and I always have dinner in this restaurant. The atmosphere is amazing. So warm and Christmassy. The Flemish stew is delicious and a very nice selection of wines. Not too expensive either. Thanks again Mario and see you next year.

A charming little restaurant in a historic building in a corner of the centre. They serve local traditional food and the beer stew is especially good. Good service, good value for money.

From the outside it looks just like a life size gingerbread house. The inside is cosy, festive and welcoming. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. This is a restaurant and not a bar, therefore, they won't serve drinks without food.

After starting our journey at 5am from the UK we arrived at this restaurant at 2pm that afternoon. We asked for a table for four and three of us ordered food and drink. The fourth member of our party, who is vegetarian, decided not to order food as the one vegetarian option wasn't appealing. We asked for an extra portion... More

We visited this restaurant after spotting it down a small side alley, it's a very warm intimate setting and I was pleased to read that the food is all hand prepared so please be patient. I had the traditional Flemish stew which came out in the hot pot and had enough for a couple of plate fulls. It was delicious... More

We found this restaurant by accident as we were walking past and glanced down the alleyway where it is situated. It is a find we are glad we did not miss. We later found it was on the list of restaurants recommended by our Hotel (as small and cosy - which it certainly is!!) From outside it looks really quaint... More

We went here on recommendation from Lizzies, so glad we went. It is beautiful inside, it's amazing it's like a tardis! We had a little issue with seats as they had to swap us round to another table half hour in, which I thought warranted a free drink! But no such luck! The staff were friendly so we didn't mind.... We ate here on a Sunday evening, the restaurant was recommended by our hotel. Based on the reviews about portion size, we decided to skip starters and order main courses only. The beef stew was very tasty and flavoursome, unfortunately my partner's fish in cream sauce was very poor with the fish being overcooked and tough and lacking in any... More

Great atmosphere, wonderful food and friendly staff. A bit more expensive than your usual place but worth it.
