This is a must eat at restaurant. 3 of us ate the delicious Flemish Beef Stew (one son had the Rabbit stew which he also enjoyed with cherry beer and prunes). The portions are very generous and they come around and fill you up with fantastic French fries, as much as you want. Of course they also serve the famous... More

My wife and I both absolutely loved this restaurant. We had one of their set menus and we were not disappointed. The stew was delicious, with tender beef, and a fantastic gravy. They have an amazing beer selection and service was good.

When you are Bruges, don't miss this restaurant which serves authentic Flemish cuisine. The place is like a small house converted to a restaurant and the ambience is really good. You can pick also some souvenirs if you want. The quality of the food is excellent and worth the cost. They have a variety of selection for the beers.

While not inexpensive, the Flemish Pot is a wonderful experience. The first time we visited Brugges, I made the mistake of ordering mussels. They were fine, but nothing compared to the Beef Stew simmered for hours on low heat in a delicious hearty ale, brown sugar, and herb sauce. We actually went back to Brugges a second time just to... I had dinner with my wife on a Friday evening in Bruges. We had made a reservation for 7:30, but ended up seated in the entry room with the "gift shot". The food was average, with the goat cheese and shrimp croquettes coming served on an undressed cold salad and covered with scallions. The moules frites were up to expectations,... More

The food was very good. I had the classic flemish menu and my wife had mussels The portions are massive!!!!!!!!! If you are from the US its probably the norm. I cant knock the taste of the food but the service was slow and the staff looked overstretched. The waiters tried but we had to chase him down to order... More

We found this restaurant by accident - just noticed it as we passed by the laneway. What a find! I was very keen to try the Flemish stew and was not disappointed. The food was delicious and we loved the decor! Would recommend this restaurant.

Lovely little traditional Flemish restaurant in a quiet back street, very traditional and quaint inside. We had the beef stew, it was so rich with very large chunks of soft, tender beef in a rich, sweet gravy. This is served with fries which they keep bringing out to you and a side of apple sauce...very, very nice. The bread and... More

We visited the Pot during our vacation in bruge at the recommendation of our hotelier. We were looking for some authentic Flemish Stew. The food was wonderful!! The fries were terrific. Overall it was a great experience. The only down side was our waiter was doing us a favor by serving us. His attitude could have been much better.
