Rudely treated from the moment we arrived for our 9pm booking (we were 10 mins late), made to feel unwelcome from the outset, menus thrust at us, told to order immediately as the kitchen was closing, the wine we ordered never arrived, seated on a table for 5, although we had booked for 4, and the particular waitress who was... 10 of us ate here, (at reasonably short notice) the staff were very friendly and attentive, atmosphere was very good. Had the prime rib steak, it was very nice, well cooked. chips served were also very nice. But I got food envy. Alot of my friends ordered the stew, I had a taste, OH MY!! Delicious! Thankfully they were unable... More

We had a fabulous meal with tasty beer and great service. It is worth paying a bit more for the superb ambiance and high quality produce used in this restaurant.

The beef in beer stew here was one of the most delicious things I have ever eaten. The only think that let the place down was the service - the waiters just pointed to a full-ish restaurant and told us to pick a table, it was hard to move round as it was quite packed. The first table we sat... More

The restaurant decor is very special and unique down a quiet street, it is very cosy. The food is rather pricey but very filling and delicious. You need to be hungry to eat there, especially if you fancy a stew (there is enough for 2 people to share). The service is excellent.

Blimey this was a good waffle!! The chocolate sauce was to die for, as was the whipped cream as well. But a word of advice - they're massive portions so you will get plenty even if you order to share

Down a quiet street, this place is so sweetly decorated. The food is traditional Flemish and a bit on the heavy creamy side but yummy. If frites come with your meal, they are unending-they just bring a huge tin and ladle more out to you. Very nice service, as well.

This was an amazing find! We came here since they serve traditional Flemish dishes and we were excited to have a wonderful meal. Boy, were we not disappointed. The service was very, very good and our meals, mussels and a sausage platter - out of this world good! Not only was the food delicious, but they gave you so much... More

We went here for lunch specifically for the Flemish stew. We only had 1 course as it was lunchtime, and the beef stew was absolutely gorgeous; there was a huge amount of it, I couldn't eat it all. My partner had mussels which were also really good. This is a small rather quirky little restaurant, big chandeliers in a small... More

Food was excellent and plentiful. The restaurant was very romantic. Service was slow, but that is the way all over Europe, which take a bit of getting used to for us Americans. It was a 5-minute walk from our B&B.
