Quirky little pub with classical music playing in the background. Really great place to go and try out different local beers. As someone who doesn't usually drink beer, the staff were great with different suggestions.

Quite a small little bar down a side , but well worth the visit. They have a very large selection , which can be a little overwhelming , but the staff are excellent in helping you to choose the right beer . It is a small cosy pub with a good atmosphere . There is a food menu with tapas... More

The hosts are very polite and knowledgeable here and there is an expansive selection of beers-- so much that you will no doubt be lost as to what to try. This is where asking the hosts comes into play. Would have given it 5 stars IF the menu had written tidbits on each beer such as flavour, scent, after taste,... More

Try as many as you can. Most are strong beers and not too commercial outside Belgium. Amazing staff, I asked to try some beers on tap before deciding and they happily let me. All beer anywhere is served in their trademark glasses in Bruges (they treat their beer like wine and why not!). This was heaven for a beer connoisseur... More

After great dinner we were looking for a choice of belgium beer. We found it in a smaller street. The used furniture and the tightness of the cafe create a nice cosy atmosphere. The choice is about more than 300 different "bier". The servant knows the differences and does good recommendation acc. to your taste. It has been a good... More

With over 200 types of beer, it can be hard to make a choice. But the personal is knowledgeable in this area and are happy to help. Quite a small place so it's a bit snuggly, but the customers there was as nice as the personel.

overall an excellent place for a couple of beers with friends, dont forget to try the "portie gemengd" to go with those beers. Please drink like a Belgian: slow and steady, and not like a Brit: quick to finish and quicker to the floor

Called in here for a couple of beers on the way to the train station. The bar man couldnt have been more helpful. We told him what beers we liked and his recommendations were right on the money

This is one of my favourite bars in Bruges. We were out walking around the city and decided to pop in for a beer. As usual this place did not disappoint, 250 beers in bottles and 5 on tap. Had one of the tap beers and enjoyed it, again as usual. Will pop in for a few more beers before... More

I visited 't Brugs Beertje about 6 years ago on my first visit to Bruges and had very fond memories so happy to return. Friendly welcome, good basic nibbles menu (bit of cheese, pate, and salami goes great with a beer or two) and a great atmosphere.
