Always try to call in here!

Each time we come to Bruge we like to come here, just for the beer.. We haven't eaten here yet! There is such a large variety of beers to choose from, each with its own distinctive glass and some more potent than others. Great way to pass a wet afternoon and evening!

We visited this establishment on our last night. The food was truly excellent, washed down by a choice of beer large enough to defeat even the best beer drinkers. We would strongly advise booking a table whatever day and / or time you intend to visit.

This was a very enjoyable, bustling bar to sit and have a beer. We also ordered some Belgian cheese and sausage to accompany our drinks which were very good. However the service was slow, the staff didn't seem to be knowledgable about the beers and the biggest annoyance was waiting at the bar after giving up waiting on table service... More

Friends and I dined here on April 11. The service was good, multi-lingual and attentive. They also came with good recommendations on traditional dishes to enjoy as the menu both large and complicated to follow (even in English). We enjoyed an amazing selection of beers while there. The menu suggests there are over 400, but they were out of some.... More

We have been here many times over the years, and for me it has got progressively worse. In summary, issues were : 1. Did not reply to email request for reservation. 2. Took 15 minutes, with prompt, to replace a bad beer, with no apology. 3. Food portion barely filling, although it was tasty. 4. Took 40 minutes, with prompt,... More

Lots of fine food for the money and a nice place for a break and a beer. They have a bunch! Spaghetti super, outstanding cheese and meat plate for 9.5 euros.

Went here based on a suggestion from the Hotel Prinsenhof front desk when we asked for a spot to have a few beers - were not disappointed. Excellent selection, traditional interior, nice staff, excellent time. Bar is beer only.

Perfect place to stop for a Belgian beer while walking around beautiful Bruges. Solid bar food as well.

Loved this bar, phenomenal choice of beers, we stuck to the local brew. Efficient friendly service despite being a busy lunch time. Sampled the meat and cheese platter which was enormous more than enough for two and delicious.
