Large portions, nice food.

This place was packed out every night, sometimes people queued out of the door for a table. We waited one night and eventually gave up and booked for the following night. The staff are very busy and sometimes quite short with customers, some people might find this to be quite rude, but it seems to... read more

Much has been written in praise of Bierbrasserie Cambrinus. And it is well deserved. Last night we sat and sampled from the extensive beerlist whilst watching the toings and froings around us. Tonight we had an early supper before heading to the ferry. We both had the Flemish beef stew and were equally impressed: taste, portion sizes and presentation were... More

Best choice of Belgium beer. Spent a few evenings at the bar, nice staff & managed to squeeze us in & find us a table when we decided to eat here. Good food.

We went to the pub after receiving some free beer tokens from a walking tour. The alternative beers looked so good, I still have the tokens!! Pretty well a beer for every occasion, all served well in a very enjoyable atmosphere. Recommended, but if you are eating please book ahead it's very busy and popular. Might have to take the... We were introduced to this pub because we were given some free beer vouchers after doing a free city walking tour. After tasting the delicious draught beer, we then bought a round of beer because it was so good.

An attractive spot right off one of the main streets, easy to find. Beautiful decor but maybe a little much in terms of forcing itself, but that's no issue. We had a couple of the "house beers" though I don't know there names and found it hard to figure out. The menu and beer list is extensive but a little... More

This is a lively bar/restaurant with a great selection of beer. If you're looking for a busy atmosphere and good beer this is the place for you. We wanted dinner, however, and found the food less to our liking.

Only popped in for a quick drink before closing time and wished that we had gone earlier in the evening. The beer list is extensive, as most beer lists in Belgium seem to be. Our waitress was only to happy to help us, even if they were starting to close down after what looked like a busy day. The decor... More

Good beer selection. Grumpy manager and (understandably) grumpy staff. I politely asked what style the 'hop-it' beer was. "Hop-it," he said. I waited for the laugh. Nothing. He wasn't joking - just being grumpy. I wouldn't return considering all the fantastic bars and restaurants in beautiful Bruges.
