Stumbled upon this place one night, beautiful building and the lamps in the window lured us in! Inside the bar is so full of beers and glasses of all shapes and sizes! (The wine is lovely too!) we watched the meals coming in and out and the aroma was enticing! We went back the next night for a special hard... More

We went here on a Thursday night, making sure we made a reservation in the morning. We had walked by the night before and saw that it is quite busy. At the B&B where we were staying the staff recommended it as one of the places to eat, but also mentioned the need for a reservation. We went here more... More

Good food, had the Belgian stew. Book a table as it's busy all the time and you will end up queuing otherwise. The portions were good and the beer menu was enormous! Well worth a visit.

We went in on the Friday and booked for the Saturday evening as we knew this bar is very popular. The bar has a great buzz (not surprising with all the beers) and the food is surprisingly good and reasonably priced for Bruges. We had a sharing platter between three to start with the other person having the tasty Flemish... More

We had to book in advance to ensure we got a table, which turned out to be a good idea as many people were turned away while we were here. The bar boasts it has 400 different beers, and when you sit down you are given the biggest menu I've ever seen which lists all 400 beers and the food.... More

Our overall experience in Bruges was wonderful until we hit this restaurant. We had just come from the Bruges Beer Museum and after beer tasting, we needed some food. We walked into the restaurant and saw empty tables, but they all had "reserved" signs on them. A waitress approached us and we asked for a table and she asked if... More

The atmosphere in the bar is excellent with an amazing range of beers! Food wise, I can personally recommend the vegetarian burger as it came with a fantastic range of vegetables, all prepared differently, with distinct flavours and textures! The fish stew was excellent, very filling and tasty. The Flemish onion soup was extremely flavoursome! My main tip is to... More

Great bar with huge choice of beers. The food was very good but the restaurant was very busy (August) and you would be well advised to book.

We always stop here to sample beers both old and new. The staff leave you to select from the beer menu (over 300) and promptly deliver your choice. That's what we live about it here, you're left to chat amongst yourselves. Had a great beer /cheese sandwich to accompany the different beers. We tend to drink here rather than eat... More

Only tried the selection of beers and pub snacks so I can't say about the main courses, but as a pub, it was really outstanding. Although it is certainly touristy, it is very welcoming and has a massive selection of Belgian beers at solid prices. Staff were friendly and accommodating, great vibes all around.
