Great beer!

We stumbled upon this restaurant and decided to try it out. The place was packed and we had to wait for a table but were able to sit at the bar and try one of their beers, which were fantastic! The food was also good Belgium food and worth the wait.

The food was good, not outstanding. The beer selection was terrific. The service, however, was the worst we have had. We found that restaurant service in Belgium was quite different, that once you get your food, they disappear. Probablly from the fact that they don't have the incentive of a tip to keep things moving. We had to nearly tackle... More

Been here 2 times during my stay in Brugge, service was excellent. Food was excellent, reasonable priced and drinks were amazing. A large selection of beer and all accompanied with the appropriate glass. Friendly waitresses, even during incredible busy and crowded moments. The design and decoration is very cosy and perfect suited for a cafe like this. Beer everywhere. Just... More

We had a really good meal here during our last visit to Bruges in 2012 so we thought we would return. The food was just as good three years on and we finished up eating here twice. All the food we had was very tasty, especially the rabbit with prunes. The Menu of the Brewers is also excellent and good... More

This restaurant was recommended to us by the hotel and did have some good reviews on Trip Advisor but it certainly did not live up to expectations and was one of the worst restaurant experiences we have had in a very long time. We arrived 10 minutes early for our booking and the table was ready waiting for us. So... More

No visit to Bruges is complete without time spent here. We always have the Flemish beef in beer with chips and mayo washed down with a few beers from the extensive choice; the beer menu has to be seen to be believed. Make sure you pre-book as it is always busy.

Long, long list of beers. All of the usual choices and lots of rare choices. The place was bustling on a Sunday afternoon. The staff was very friendly and very willing to make recommendations. very pleasant destination for this beer guy!

We soaked up the ambience here for both lunch and dinner on Tues., 24 April. Big menu with humongous selection of beers. We enjoyed lunch (38.85 euros): Onion Soup, Smoked Duck Breast (very flavorful!) salad, Goat Cheese salad and dinner (73.95 euros): Grilled Shrimp appetizer, could hardly finish the Belgium beef stew with apple sauce & greens, grilled beef steak...
