Wonderful dinner!

If you don't eat dinner till 7.30 or later, then you definitely need to book here. But we walked straight in & were served at 7 last night & had a fabulous meal. Everything from the service, to the food presentation & food itself was wonderful, & reasonably priced too. Highly recommended!

We booked our table as we had seen the sign the night before that is was fully booked, glad we did as we enjoyed a fantastic meal here. My wife had the rabbit while I chose the pigs cheeks. The presentation of the food was beautiful, the flavours fantastic and the textures- melt in the mouth. What was really nice was... More

Our hotel recommended this restaurant and I'm glad they did. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. We wanted a traditional Belgian restaurant which wasn't too expensive. For 2 adults and 2 children -main courses and drinks, the price was €80: very good price considering it is just off the main square. The only slight complaint is that... More

We were looking for local cuisine so our hotel reccomended Den Huzaar. We were not disappointed! After reading reviews i ordered the pork cheeks, the meat was so tender and melted in your mouth, it came with a lovely pastry topping, green beans and dauphinois potatoes. Delicious! My boyfriend had the rabbit and loved it too. House red was tasty... More

We had a delicious meal at Bistro Den Huzaar, it’s a cosy restaurant a few minutes walk from the main square offering authentic Flemish cooking. All the food here was amazing. We shared the king prawn tagliatelle to start which was cooked to perfection followed by the Flemish stew with (melt in the mouth) pork cheeks and the chicken vol... More

Just off the beaten tourist path, this restaurant is truly a gem with savory dishes and impeccable service. Be sure to make reservations because it was completely full for a Sunday lunch!

Scallops to start & gratin potatoes & pork cheeks- yummy, I would highly recommend these! My boyfriend and I ate this while our friends ate the rabbit. The desserts were tasty too. Staff were friendly. They have cool self cleaning toilets as an added bonus to your evening!

Found this place wandering around near the main square after our hotel wasn't ready for us to check in. Friendly staff gave us a table straight away despite it being busy. Both ordered the Pig Cheek casserole which was divine! Tender meat and delicious sauce served from a hot pot. Great way to start our short break, would definitely recommend.

Great food, good service and not bad value for Bruges. Lovely atmosphere inside. Worth trying the pork cheeks!
