With the majority on this one

Baffled by poor reviews although there aren't many. I'm with the majority! The 55 euro menu - aperitif, 50cl house wine. 3 courses and coffee is great value with plenty of choice. Dad is chef and his sauces (had one with the fish and one with rack of lamb) are excellent. Daughter serves at tables... read more

Seeing the reviews on Trip Advisor we thought we'd give it a try.... Conclusion is that this is an excellent restaurant, the other 5 star reviews say it all. Atmosphere, home made cooking, service, perfect in every respect. Ideal for a romantic evening or a casual lunch. Michelin take note! Justin

We stumbled across this after a couple of restaurants we were looking for nearby were closed on a Sunday night . No booking bu they fitted us in . The owner dealt with us personally and has clearly chosen house wines etc well . The fixed menu with wines was a great choice , especially the Dover Sloe . Excellent... More

We had read good reviews of the restaurant, so stopped by one afternoon to make a reservation for the next evening. So glad that we did as it was our best meal in Bruges. The restaurant is traditional but not overly formal. The waitstaff were very friendly and professional. We felt that the menu was an incredible value. All of... More

We lucked out to get a table soon after they opened at 18:00. We sat outside with just three other tables and had great views of the historic architecture along the street and of the bell tower on the main plaza. Service was very attentive and friendly. The food was amazing and everything that French and Belgian food should be.... More

We found this restaurant on trip advisor, and yet we was truly positively surprised with almost everything The setting is romantic and cosy , but this doesn't mean that it's designated for couples, the menu is just what you need to have from European cuisine I advise you to order the rabbit cooked on flamish way Enjoy

10 of us ate here on Sunday evening. The complementary Rabbit Pate was surprisingly nice. I had the Lamb which was amazing and portions are generous. I'm glad I didn't order a starter. The staff are very helpful and friendly. I think it's family run and Dad cooks. They were very patient with the younger children who were fascinated with... More

This place was not my first choice but it ended up being a nice quaint restaurant with a good Belgian influence on classic French cuisine. I had the rabbit which was very rich (possibly to a fault) and came in a classic red wine and shallot sauce. My father got roast chicken and enjoyed the meat (though it was not... More

Lovely romantic setting through a small door, you won't expect what you find inside! Lovely food, lovely wait persons who were happy to see us, spoke English and enjoyed having guests in their facility. Reservations definitely needed!
