After looking on trip advisor we decided to give this place a go whilst in Brugge. Last table for 2 available (early April) and the place was packed on a Tuesday night. Had the pork casserole (brugge stew) which is a proper mans meaty meal and i was stuffed after. Really top drawer staff who were just brilliant and a... More

Came here on a trip to Bruges and thought we would try the restaurant again having had such an excellent meal last time. Pleased to say we were not disappointed. Would definitely recommend the stews which are out of this world. Brilliant - and well worth the visit.

The food here was great (I had the pig cheeks and my boyfriend had the rabbit - both were divine) - big portions too. The service was friendly and the place had a nice low key relaxed atmosphere.

We were informed by the hotel we stayed in that we must book a restaurant for Sat night, so we took his advice and after looking at several chose Den Huzaar. Just as well we booked as when we arrived on the said evening it was full! Great service and great meal. The house wine is a reasonable price but... More

It is best to book this restaurant if you want to guarantee a table as it is very popular, especially those who live in Bruges. We ate here on a Sunday evening and it was half full due to not accepting more customers after 7.30pm due to wanting to close early to prepare for a big function the following day.... More

Really memorable meal here. Food is presented beautifully and tastes amazing. Staff are polite, attentive and welcoming, thoroughly recommended. By far the best meal we had in Bruges.

We were very glad to experience a wonderful dinner in this restaurant - everyone should have the pleasure of dining here! The hospitality at our arival was very friendly and warm. Service was excellent all night long. The menu was delightful: Flemish Gastronomy with a big G!!

We went there 2 nights ago and I can say that it was one of the worst dinners I ever had for the money we payed. We took the 35€ menu with meat plates and they were heavy and tasteless.

We really enjoyed our visit to den Huzaar. The food reflects Flemish cuisine and was well cooked, plentiful and very reasonably priced. The restaurant is family run with all staff friendly and very helpful. Good food, good atmosphere. Recommended.

A group of six of us turned up without a reservation at this good restaurant and were immediately shown to a perfect round table. We chose the menu for €54pp which included all drinks, and we were all satisfied. Four of our party are from Liege and they assured us that the meal was of a really good standard, and... More
