By changing one letter, you can call this restaurant "'t Foutje": in Dutch, the little mistake. It was a big mistake to eat here. My partner and I, we wished to sit side-by-side at a table for four so that we could both see the street. We were curtly informed that this was not possible. Imagine if everybody wanted to... More

Where to eat? Where to eat? Spoiled for choice in Bruges we had our hearts set on mussels. All restaurants seemed to charge the same so it was all about atmosphere and vibe. From the start we were well looked after 4 adults and 1 child. The staff was concerned that our table wouldn't be big enough for our meal... More

My husband and I have just returned from having a meal at this restaurant, very poor service...we waited well over half an hour for a pate starter.. It tasted ok...after almost an hour the main meal arrived chicken in a creamy sauce with vegetables...it was ok..not worth the money we paid for it...My husband mentioned to the waiter when he... We stumbled upon this place on a Sunday nght and, not having read the bad reviews, gave it a try. The menu was simple but we quite liked all the dishes, from the house salad to the chicken special to the Flemish beef with baked apples. Moreover, the maitre d/server was quite pleasant. We enjoyed our dinner.

We arrived late in the day and wanted a restaurant fairly close to our hotel, but not on the main square as we were concerned about being ripped off. It was a fairly quiet winter evening so we thought we would pick somewhere with several diners in. This appeared to have several people eating downstairs but we were shown to... More

Absolute rip off, we looked at the set menus and decided to eat here, when we went to order the waiter advised us they were only small portions. We ordered large beers and chose from the menu, 2 of us had "chicken in creamy sauce, with vegetables" this turned out to be chicken breast in a soup, when we got... More

Stumbled across this restaurant last night after getting a bit lost in Bruges - my husband and I were hungry and tired so we decided to give it a try. The service was fine - not bad, just fine. The fries were very good, but my beef entrecôte was absolutely vile. I have had entrecôte in many countries, and it... More

Board with moderately price menu drew us in for dinner. Waiter was very curt and directed us upstairs. Gave us a menu and left us to ponder. When he came to take the order, we quizzed him over the price seen outside on the board. He immediately dismissed this and said it was a lunchtime menu. We argued with him... More

I knew we should not have gone here, I have always avoided restaurants where u get given a leaflet in the street, but after a couple of days, my wife said it should be ok... Really??? We went in for a brunch style meal, and ordered 2 Lattes and 2 Flemish stew, the food that came out I would not... More

My husband & I only ended up here because the 2 restaurants we wanted to go to were fully booked (I can highly recommend both Toms Diner & Ribs 'n beer). Initially we were 'tricked' into the restaurant along with a family if 4 by a false €17 menu outside to then be told once sat down that this is... More
