Seemed to start OK with service, but as the evening draw on it was getting worse and worse - in the end everyone was waiting for their dessert. I had the mussels and was very disappointed - not enough, and no sauce. They'd probably been frozen ones. Bread was extra and the drinks were expensive. Avoid.

The waiter/owner makes Basil Fawlty look like a consummate professional... Grabbed our menus off us when I said that I didn't think I wanted a full meal but rather have a snack. Turfed out most unceremoniously! am thankful having had the opportunity to read others reviews on here.what I saw of the food it looked bland and I unexceptional.

We were 4 people, male and female, looking for a light lunch but the waiter/chef/owner categorically stated we must have a main meal as this was a restaurant. He was impolite and waved us out immediately. He had shown us upstairs to a table, a little squashed on the corner, and taken orders for our drinks. I didn't think this... More

We only went in to have the set menu as it seemed reasonable priced however you get what you pay for.... it was just OK. Waiter kept popping out for a cigarette, no atmosphere and quite dull. Staff not very attentive or friendly. Would avoid if possible.

Went here for coffee and a snack. Looked promising from the outside and the lady who appeared to be running the place was helpful without being overly welcoming. We had a great table just to the left of the door. The food was good without being exceptional and price-wise the same. You are in a tourist area and Bruges is... More

The look brood was lovely. We also ordered wafels and some tea. Nothing special about that. It was just that people didn't really seem to be too happy to have guests. No smiles, no friendly words, just the obligatory. Nice little terrace though..

this had to be the worst dining experience in our 3 week tour of Europe, The rudest waiter we have ever come across in all our travels, it seemed like we were an inconvenience to him and he seemed angry that we ordered the set menu? If he does not like tourists then he should get out of the service... More

As travel professionals we visit Brugges on a regular basis. We like to try different places each time & can honestly say this restaurant is the worst we have ever been too. We fancied beef stew & as it wasn't on the main menu, we opted for the set menu of the day which did include the beef stew. MISTAKE.... More

First we asked for the prices (not the same on board and carte), and the waiter nearly did not answer. After this, I wanted to try out their Menu, my girfriend was not hungry, so she decided she would only drink. The waiter said, that there is no way, he would serve us, we need to order 2 for 2... A friend and I decided to have lunch at 't Voutje after walking around central Bruges for a little while. We sat outside in the sun, and were promptly brought our menus. My friend decided on the set menu, which consisted of a starter, main and dessert. As he was placing his order, the waiter kept offering suggestions; however, didn't... More
