Couvert is small non-business-like restaurant with nice decoration. Service was good or even more. The food was delicious and wine matched well with the food. I am going to visit them again, when I am next time in Brugge.

A tiny restaurant run by a charming couple -- he in the kitchen, she out front. The ambiance is lovely, intimate and romantic. But the food surpasses that. We have eaten all over the world in many fine restaurants, but few can surpass the excellent, imaginative cuisine here at Couvert. And the prices are reasonable, especially the fixed price meal.... Our hotel recommended this restaurant as we wanted something special for my Birthday & not a 'tourist' restaurant. It certainly didn't disappoint! it is expensive, but the food was excellent, good sized portions, beautifully presented & SO delicious. A very intimate little place & stylishly decorated. Husband is Chef & Wife front of house & very good service. Not rushed... More

Good restaurant for a business or private lunch. Excellent food well presented and served. Limited number of tables so cozy atmosphere. Locals and tourists frequent this place. Book to assure a table!

Like many others, this restaurant was recommended by our host at our B&B. While the food was in fact excellent, it was clearly overpriced. Had the service been up to the same level as the food, we would have happily accepted the premium we paid for our meal. I enjoyed the price fixe 3 course meal which included sea scallops... More

The tasting menu was four courses (additional charge for the lobster) with an accompanying wine with each course. It started with an amuse bouche, there was also a plate of olives, winkles and radishes. The food was delicious - scallops with white asparagus to start, lobster, then succulent lamb and finally a kind of eton mess. The wine was great... More

Our host at the B&B made a reservation for us here. It is a small place with only ten tables which makes it a nice quiet place to enjoy a gourmet meal. We had the lamb which was absolutely delicious...and was part of a fixed price for a three course dinner. The soup was very good and so was the... More

I was enjoying Brugge with my girlfriend and we accidentally got a table for two as Couvert. It ended up being one of the highlights of our trip! Marvelous food - from the starter to the dessert - and cozy ambience. If you are in Brugge don't miss the opportunity to have a dinner at Couvert!
