This place is definitely worth going to. We were skeptical about eating meatloaf in Bruges, but it really was amazing! Nice atmosphere, good staff; if in Bruges, make sure you visit!

Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, Tom's was a great find. Very attentive wait staff. Started with tasty mussels and both had meatloaf with rhubarb sauce. Kitchen was open with the young owner hard at work. A lot of locals, as well as, tourists. Would return.

Tom's diner is only 10-15 mins from the heart of Bruges, (it took us longer because we kept getting distracted by the area). The building is on a corner of a residential part of the old town and while we were lucky enough to get a seat without reservation, I do recommend reserving a table. We had the Flemish meatloaf... My girlfriend and I went to Bruges for 2 days, and the first night we found this place near our hotel. It was so good, that we decided to go the night after as well! Their meat loaf is outstanding and a MOST! We also tried their Rib eye and light fish (thombs up for that also!). A main course... More

We don't always like the restaurants that Rick Steeves recommends, but this was an exception. We have just returned from our trip to Europe and included Bruges in our route. The food at Tom's was truly superb. Better than we expected. The dishes were original, tasty and wonderfully presented. I agree with one of the reviewers... considering that one walks... More

Its nice to have a lovely welcome to a trendy, cosy candlelit bistro in a quiet cobbled area, ten minutes from the centre. A modern twist which turns tradition into delightful dishes such as Flemish meat loaf with rhubarb sauce into a signature dish. If your after a real experience, sens tourists, this joint is it. No need to look... More

While in Bruges for a weekend long birthday festivus with my wife and good friends, we had dinner on the night of my birthday at this cracking little restaurant. I've read a number of reviews explaining how this place is worth the walk. Uh, what walk?? Its a less than 10 minute stroll through the cobbled streets and across beautiful... More

Went here with my family as we were travelling Europe and the food was amazing. Personally suggest the meatloaf but everything we had was delicious!

We were here on a weekday without a reservation and had an easy pleasant wait at the bar for about 15-20 min until a table was ready upstairs for a late dinner. We chose Tom's Diner based on tripadvisor and write-ups in our guidebooks, and were not disappointed. As other reviewers have mentioned, this restaurant is very trendy and in... More
