My husband, five friends and I ate dinner at Tom's Diner on September 17/09/14. We all had a superb dining experience. The food is prepared when it is ordered, the portions are generous and delicious. The ambiance lends itself to relaxation and good conversation. The staff is friendly and courteous. Two thumbs up for Tom's Diner. Reservations recommended, attire is... More

Had a fantastic meal here. The ambiance is wonderful... with old beams mixed with modernizations. It's a bit away from the central core of old Bruges, but it was right near our hotel. Highly reviewed in Rick Steves' book.

Tom's Diner stands out as one of our best meals in our 2 week trip to Rome, Venice, Bruges and Amsterdam. The host and waiter were very welcoming and the food was delicious. The restaurant is cozy and attractive. Definitely worth a visit!

We came here on the recommendation of our B&B host, and he made the earliest reservation for us early-eating Americans-6pm. We arrived and they opened promptly at 6 and we were shown to our reserved table. We watched as several people came in inquiring about dinner, but we're turned away. Glad we had a reservation. Ordered from the "classics" section.... More

We did not like: Being seated on the second floor and it was hot. Confusion when I ordered mussels which came spicy and I wanted them in a classic style The friets were just ok "Belgian meatloaf" one of the specialty was just ok What was good: The waitress was nice The beer was good The steak was great as... Excellent food and service, and very reasonably priced. The location is on a quiet street just a 5-10 minute walk from the center of Bruges. It's busy so count on making reservations.

It's a bit tricky to find but it was so worth it - Great food I mean I had no idea the prospect of meatloaf with a rhubard side could be so exciting. Absolutely amazing!

Tom's Diner is away from the tourist areas on Bruges--a good thing, in my opinion--but is well worth the walk. The food was simply delicious. The codfish was a generous fillet, perfectly prepared, certainly one of the best fish dinners I've ever had; my partner had the meatloaf, which was imaginatively prepared and excellent. Service was attentive and polished. With... More

We happened upon Tom's as it was less than 30 seconds from our B&B. the menu looked good and there was a welcoming bustle coming from inside so we were drawn in. The decor is lovely and there's a great use if space with a mezzanine above the main room. Rather than main meals we ordered a selection of dishes... More

It's a bit of a walk to get here and you need a map to guide you here. But it's definitely worth it, away from the usual tourist trap type of places. We can here for lunch and my wife had the vegetarian Toms diner pasta and I had the Grilled meat. Great food and ambience, we regretted not coming... More
