Located in the Artist's home on his named street the Pieter Pourbus Restaurant was a delight. There were 5 of us and we all were extremely satisfied with our meals. A prix fixe menu that includes a nice selection of appetizers and main courses that include Belgian Specialties as well as more typical French style offerings. Whether it was Shrimp... More

4 of us had a brilliant evening here; we could not fault it. Staff so friendly and helpful to everyone in the restaurant and they were full and busy the evening we were there, a Saturday. The dishes were explained; 2 of us shared the chateaubriand (43 euros total)...beautiful meat and so much of it, the other 2 of us... More

We found this restaurant on our 2nd night in Bruges and decided it was so good we had dinner there the next two nights as well. The food is expertly prepared and presented, with a wide choice of entries and reasonably priced good quality wines. We enjoyed the atmosphere, service was fun but professional, treating us as guests of the... More

From the outside, a wobbly-walled chocolate-box house on a quiet street, inside, a warm and welcome homely haven of feasting! The restaurant came recommended and I would certainly recommend it to others. We shared a beef rib, it was delicious and plentiful. The service was warm, welcoming, genuine and attentive (without being at all excessive!). Five stars, without being stupidly... More

We ate here twice in a three day trip! The restaurant is cosy and comfortable - homey without being pedestrian. Every detail was carefully thought through, giving a wonderfully harmonious feeling. The staff could not have been more welcoming or accommodating. They were warm and quietly competent - the perfect mix. And the food! Excellent. The t-bone steak was possibly... More

I can use no other words to describe our visit but "EXCELLENT". The six course meal without wine was 45 Euros and with 50. If you are going on a Saturday book. The visit to Peter Pourbus was the highlight of our Golden Wedding, everybody enjoyed the evening.
