After reading TA reviews we decided to try this restaurant while staying in Bruges for 3 nights. It's small and very cozy with a nice atmosphere. It's slightly off the main square and as a result is frequented more by locals than visitors, but that tells you the food and service must be good. We had made a reservation before... More

The title says it all :) We were recommended to have dinner here by our hotel and that was a good suggestion. Excellent fish dishes, a marvelous Cote a l'os, good beer and service. If ever again in Bruges, we'll enjoy dinner here again for sure.

This corner-street restaurant is an understated surprise. We had our hotel make reservations here for a Sunday night, but it wasn't nearly as crowded as many of the other touristy places near the Market Square. We had a delightful meal here, as the other foodie table next to us mentioned at the conclusion of their meal as well. We started... More

We have been in Belgium for three days now and sadly we have fallen for tourist trap resturants the first few nights our of need for quick food and location. Each night we were disappointed. Tonight we did our research and ended up at this cozy, wonderful restaurant. From the beginning, the service was warm, welcoming and informative. We are... More

Located in the Artist's home on his named street the Pieter Pourbus Restaurant was a delight. There were 5 of us and we all were extremely satisfied with our meals. A prix fixe menu that includes a nice selection of appetizers and main courses that include Belgian Specialties as well as more typical French style offerings. Whether it was Shrimp... More

4 of us had a brilliant evening here; we could not fault it. Staff so friendly and helpful to everyone in the restaurant and they were full and busy the evening we were there, a Saturday. The dishes were explained; 2 of us shared the chateaubriand (43 euros total)...beautiful meat and so much of it, the other 2 of us... More

We found this restaurant on our 2nd night in Bruges and decided it was so good we had dinner there the next two nights as well. The food is expertly prepared and presented, with a wide choice of entries and reasonably priced good quality wines. We enjoyed the atmosphere, service was fun but professional, treating us as guests of the... More

From the outside, a wobbly-walled chocolate-box house on a quiet street, inside, a warm and welcome homely haven of feasting! The restaurant came recommended and I would certainly recommend it to others. We shared a beef rib, it was delicious and plentiful. The service was warm, welcoming, genuine and attentive (without being at all excessive!). Five stars, without being stupidly... More
