Friendly service and wonderful food. Definitely give this a try if you are thinking of a place to eat in Bruges. Came here in a group and we loved it. The cod and duck casserole cooked in goose fat was great. This is a French restaurant by the way.

Excellent french food and extremely nice owners. Totally different than all (too touristic) restaurants in Bruges

There are literally no words to describe how much I love French food and wine! When I'm in the city, this is *definitely* where I go.. The food is so authentic that I'm reminded of how much I loved France when I visit and how much I can't wait to get back there. The brandade, the specials, the wine, it... More

Excellent meal tonight in Les Malesherbes, for our wedding anniversary, and wonderfully restful despite the crowds in Bruges during the day. I don't understand why this little restaurant is so far down the Trip Advisor list as our experience far outweighed that of last night in a restaurant supposedly higher up the ratings. My steak was succulent and cut as... More

This small restaurant is hidden in a narrow alley and could be easily missed. It should not be! The food is delicious and the staff are so friendly and helpful. There are only a few tables and seemingly one sitting so reservation is recommended.

We had lunch here during our daytrip to Bruges. The very hospitable owners were so accommodating that we felt immediately welcome and at home. The menu is attractive and all is explained when needed. In the touristic Bruges this restaurant is situated in a small alley near a square. Food is French orientated and locals find there way here(even the... More

As a frequent visitor to Bruges I am on the lookout for new culinary surprises. I found one! Restaurant " Quatre Mains" but there is no equal to the "Malesherbes" for the complete package of great food, service and general atmosphere. I love the tips that Trip Advisor brings but cannot help feeling that the scoring can be manipulated by... More
