Good food, cozy atmosphere

This is a very small place, with friendly service and very good food. I like the fact that it doesn't feel touristic, because most places in Bruges do. A good option for dinner!

We found this restaurant by accident while wandering the streets of Bruges. I had fish which was amazing but my bf had a stake which was probably one of the best stakes I've ever tasted!!! The lady who served us was really nice and welcoming and she speaks like four languages. Their house wine was very good and I mostly... More

Very small French cousin restaurant. It is located in narrow side street from main busy commercial street. Booking rather necessary due to limited number of tables. We had steak, duck leg and sausage casserole and some starters. Moderate portion size hence enough room for starters. All very good but duck leg was exceptional. It is worth visit just to try... So tasty, so aesthetic, in a nutshell: professional. They have a list of specialties, nothing less then special on the menu. They add two extra dishes to the menu, once a week - which shows the serious attitude to cooking and serving. We tried one extra starter, based on snails and were delighted. The dish was beautiful and I felt... More

We came across this little gem just by chance, and if you believe in faith then this was one of those unexplainable things. We loved it! The place was full at lunch so we booked a table for the evening. An and Jonas received us with huge smiles and they were amazing throughout the evening. My wife is gluten and... More

This was by far the best meal we had in Bruges, in a cosy and intimate atmosphere. My wife started with a fish terrine – 3 slices of white fish and 3 of trout and lobster. I had the pigeon terrine, which came with a chunk of silky smooth foie gras and dressed salad. My main course was cassoulet; this... More

A fantastic restaurant offering great quality food and service within the warmth of a home environment. The place is one half deli and one half restaurant and the setting is intimate. It gives the feel of dining amongst friends and the food quality is outstanding. I had the coq au vin and my other half had the confit of duck.... More

After three attempts over the last two years, my wife and I were finally able eat at Malesherbes, and boy was our persistence worth it. It is located in a very quaint alley near the cathedral with the Madonna and Child statue. So a bit or art and awesome food, a great combination. Prices are completely reasonable for the absolute... This is our third visit to Malesherbes and it did not disappoint. We were a party of 9 and everything was perfect. It is definitely worth a visit, out favourite restaurant when visiting Bruges.
