Terrible

My sisters mussels had cut shell in them, which she cut her mouth on. They were ordinary. I ordered the Flemish stew which I thought should be beef, but the waiter told me was pork (I think this is wrong - so much for trying a local dish). Also very ordinary and lukewarm. Poor beer selection... read more

Small bistro among a few other bistro's in a lively but not overpowering square with some bars opposite. Traditional food with European food and very reasonable . Good service polite and friendly staff. Well worth a visit for an evening meal.

On the main tourist square in Brugge, Belgium, with many options from which to choose, I decided on this one for lunch. Ordered Weinerschnitzel - my favorite, Lyonnaise potatoes, and a local beer. Everything was simply fabulous! The schnitzel was tender and crisp, the potatoes heavenly, and the beer perfect. Service was great and the people watching fascinating. I'd go... More

Nothing to recommend this place. Our waiter was surly and service was slow. Food was ok but expensive.

It was our last night in Bruges and I wanted to eat some Flemish food. We walked through the Market Place where all the restaurants charge roughly €17.50 for a 3 course lunch and €29.50 for a 3 course evening meal. One member of our group wanted an omelette and as the only restaurant that did what I wanted and... More

We just wandered over here after a long day travelling. It's right on the square, had outside heaters, which was nice on a chilly evening and looked inviting. We both just had a snack and dessert which were both fine. I'm sure there are others to choose from, but this ticked a box very well.

On the plus side this is well located on the market square facing the Belfort and a sun trap. That said, the service was inefficient and inattentive (they were very busy on Easter Sunday), the facilities were frightening and my Flemish Stew was bordering on inedible.

There is no way that a qualified chef cooks their food...I ordered the local beef stew and it tasted as though it's come out of a can!!

We had the misfortune to dine here. The highchair provided for our daughter was falling apart and had a nail sticking out on the arm. The food was overpriced, small portions and disappointing. There are far better restaurants to dine at than this one.
