Appalling service

Rude, obnoxious and downright petty waiters. Plural, not just one but two. So rude I can hardly put into words. The food was nice though but we won't be ever going back again.

On our first night in Bruges me and my boyfriend came for our dinner. Nothing positive to say really. The restaurant decor is run down and old. The food was well below average. Wish we had checked trip advisor before going!

We fancied a mid-morning snack and drinks and when we entered we were lead through the smart front area (where there were tables free) to a bit of a scruffy back area near the bar with booths. It seems if you dare to turn up with kids, even those of 12 and 15, you will get shoved away in a... More

December 2015: access to person in wheelchair denied! This is an act of rassism and cannot be tolerated.

Whilst this restaurant is in a great location and looks really nice please, please, please do not be fooled by appearances and do not eat here. My advice would be to pick something a bit more authentic away from the square. Try the restaurants on St-Armandsstraat and Ki St - Amands Streets. My wife and I picked Le Grand Cafe... More

Food was served cold. It appears food is microwaved and ours wasn't in long enough!!!!! There's no ways their food is freshly made. We brought this to their attention and they did take it away and bring fresh plates with hot food but the food was, for the price, terrible. We were given a half-hearted apology for the cold food... Enjoyed the lunch at Le Grand Cafe Belford. Coffee was great. Ordering was easy, straight from the menu.

Can't believe Italians can't make Cappuccino... And then have the cheek to charge 5 euros for it! The season the square don't help take away this insult to coffee.

This was such a quaint restaurant and I wish it lived up to our expectations but sadly there were issues at the end of our dinner and an unwanted side effect. Our choices were edible but nothing spectacular. I wish I hadn't gone into the restroom. It was disgusting and practically out-of-order. The only sink inside was clogged and if... More

Really nice looking restaurant, lovely atmosphere inside with the fire. But a very average meal which was well over charged and the service was terrible and rude. We had our meal and where brought the bill without being asked if we would like dessert or coffee. When we asked for dessert we were rudely given one menu between us. We... More
