This is a small place, with a few regulars for take-away (mostly locals) and probably some lost tourists. This restaurant is never packed, which is understandable since all comments I've read here are actually true. The food is not spectacular, rich with cream, and comes in rather small portions, with sometimes too little difference in taste between dishes. The waiter... More

Excellent punjabi food served from a great kitchen!!!! Loved the Indian way of service, felt @ home. Pricey but worth the quality... I see people complaining about water being charged. Not many cities in Europe serve water for free. Brugge is no exception, I believe. If you want to taste really authentic and spicy food, request the gentleman to serve... More

Food gross, service...what service!! Waiter has a serious attitude problem, extortionate price and certainly did not tip. Worst Indian food experience we've ever had in over 20 years.

The waiter was unfriendly to the extent of being rude. The restaurant is over priced and a total rip off. The waiter did not tell us that a glass of TAP WATER will be charged and to our surprise and anger, he charged us EUR 7.50 for 3 glasses of TAP WATER!!! On complaining that he should have informed us... More

We were quite looking forward to this place, as there aren't many other Indian Restaurants in Bruges, and you usually can't go wrong with a good curry! I have to say, the service here just wasn't friendly or welcoming for such a pricey place. Upon arriving at the Restaurant, the waiter behind the counter just stood there and looked at... More

Behind Brugge Diamond Museum is this decently average sized Indian Restaurant. The owner claims himself to be an Indian but I am not sure, given his dialect/accent. But he has for sure, one of the best Indian chefs. Order any item let it be King Prawn Biriyani or Roti (Indian Bread) with an Indian Paneer Gravy.. Ten to one, his... More

Small restaurant. The owner is taking the orders and serving the food. Very friendly man. The food is north Indian style and delicious. Price is reasonable for what you get. This is the best Indian restaurant in Brugge but you cannot compare with restaurants in India. Most Indian restaurants abroad are westernized, as we do not like the spicy food.... More

Small restaurant with a friendly owner serving the food. Portions are large and rich with cream, very heavy on the stomach ...and even heavier in your wallet. We do not understand why this guy has to overcharge...maybe his landlord does the same?

Went here for my birthday meal, should have found somewhere else. The service was ridiulously slow, it took around 20 minutes to be given the menus and it didnt seem to be a busy night. The only time the waiter seemed friendly was the large amount of time he spent flirting at the table of some italian women who clearly... More

It may have been my mistake to go to an Indian restaurant in a country other than India or the UK. It is not an excuse for the very sluggish service and Surly faces that one experience here. The food was only just passable. I was not satisfied one bit.
