Were there for a family dinner. Restaurant is not in the classic tourist center (around 15mn walk) but this is great as it avoids the crowd and the walk there is a nice one along the canal. The scampi were excellent as the Onglet steak. Perfectly cooked. Served with salad, or carrots and fries (but my advice is to skip... More

The food was OK, no doubt about that, we were served politely and our dinner was prepared on the grill while we were watching. Why the average then? Because this restaurant is situated in an old café. It has its charms, but I prefer a somewhat more cosy, comfortable place. The menu is limited to all kinds of meat and... More

We literally just walked back to our b and b in Brugge and I couldn't wait to post post this review. This restaurant is fantastic in every way. When we first sat down, we were given free shots of carrot juice to cleanse the pallet. The service from the waiters was fabulous. We asked for recommendations on beers and were... More

This restaurant was recommended in several reviews by previous occupants of the apartment we stayed in Bruges. Its a local ( slightly off the beaten track) restaurant and was not that cheap by UK standards but was delicious from start to finish. We had a couple of amuse bouche included which were yummy. The steak was melt in the mouth... More

This restaurant was recommended to us by a friend and what a great recommendation. We went with another couple and to say the chaps enjoyed their steak is an under statement. If you want to see a grown man cry over amazing food then this is the place for you. Its a small local restaurant, with friendly owner and staff.... More

We went to Bruges for my Birthday weekend and friends suggested we try this lovely restaurant. We had the best seat in teh house, right next to the big open bbq, where the food is cooked. We chose the reasonably priced set menu, which included different beers to match the food. I have to say, I had one of the... More

This restaurant was recommended to us by our host as somewhere the locals go for good food. Good tip - Excellently cooked meat in a small cozy restaurant off the tourist trap in bruges. This was by far the best meal we had in Bruges. Everywhere else felt like we were just another one in a line of travellers. Here... More

Extremely helpful and friendly staff. The restaurant had a good ambience, and character decore. We sat by an open fire on a chilly evening whilst our food was cooked in front of us which was lovely. The staff recommended beer, spoke excellent English and nothing was to much trouble. The snails were wonderful as was the steak, the ribs were also good.I... More

It was our first visit after their winter holidays during which the owners have given the interior some small changes. Don't worry, your dinner will still take place in a cozy atmosphere among a mix of locals and tourists. That is, if you have made a reservation, as without one, you're likely to arrive finding no table is available anymore.... More
