A straightforward pub where steak, lamb, fish are grilled on the fireplace in the dining area. Lovely rustic charm. Very tasty food. Good beer selection. Limited food for vegetarians though.

This restaurant was a very short walk from our hotel, it is easy to miss in a side street but well worth seeking out. The menu is short but it contains all you need. The food is cooked on an open fire grill in the room so you can watch your food being prepared. The steak and ribs were excellent.... More

Fantastic little treasure with amazing selection of meats on the grill. Would definitely recommend the escargot starter scrumptious. Good selection of bottled and draft beers. Afterwards visit the windmills not too far away, to walk off the generous portions :D

I booked this on the night with help from our Hotel reception! A table for me and my girlfriend, we did struggle to find it as it looked like one of the many pubs scattered around Bruges, so we walked passed it about 3 times until going in for a closer look! It was warm had a lovely atmosphere! We... More

We arrived just after 7pm on a Fri, didn't have a booking but were offered a table in the back room which we thought was fine. Atmosphere was nice and laid back with enjoyable jazz playing. Orders were taken promptly at that point and we really enjoyed our food which was delivered by the friendly staff (camembert and soup to... More

It is a crime that this restaurant is only ranked #30 in Bruges on Trip Advisor. My wife and I have been to Bruges a dozen times and this is by far the best meal we have had in town, possibly anywhere in Europe. It's basic inside but the food is out of this world. The ribs are full of... More

This restaurant is a MUST when u visit Bruges and like spare ribs! During the weekends it can happen that you don't get a table because it's so busy and a lot of the locals are eating there aswell. So when you are only during the weekend in Bruges, make a reservation, to be sure you get a table. The... More

Watched our Ribs / Steak being cooked by the chef in front of us in a cosy, old school pub-type restaurant with a really good atmosphere.. Menu was a little small but you got quality over quantity and it really worked. The ribs were some of the best I've ever had, the chips were good, the sauces were good, even... More

Visited this back street restaurant (don't let this put you off) last year and fell on the place again on Monday 18 February. The location is 15-20 minutes walk from the centre. It's appearance in a residential street, away from the touristy commercial areas, is akin to a corner tavern run by Yorkshire's own Granville. It doesn't scream 'restaurant' from... More
