Excellent service.

Beautiful and pleasant place, good food (beef and fries, pasta). Staff is very polite and friendly. It might be difficult to get a table for dinner, even during the weekdays, so try to reserve a table or arrive early.

Do not expect haute cuisine or any luxury, but enjoy a honest very tasteful original meal, (quickly) served with all respect for (us) customer(s) and for the Belgian products! Personally I know this restaurant since 1969, then already it was the second generation. Now it's the third generation, still with the same aim! Recommended specialties are 'croquettes with Nordseashrimps, scampis... More

Turned up having booked for 14, but 16 arrived. After the initial shock, the staff were great, and were happy to rearrange the tables in a busy restaurant. For a party that size, the kitchen did pretty well, with all the food turning up pretty much at the same time, and there were no complaints. A good evening.

Steak was tough. Sauce was good and fries were great. Not very impressed overall with dinner. Rather pricey too

To be able to book a restaurant overseas has been made easy by the Internet. It saves pounding the pavements and overcomes weak language skills. To be able to then find a restaurant as good as this is even more impressive and THESE GUYS REALLY KNOW HOW TO COOK STEAK and deliver GREAT service. I thoroughly recommend Du Progress and... More

After waking up with a horrible cold really didn't feel like going out but had already made the reservation so dragged myself along. Glad I did as the Flemish Stew was superb and this combined with a couple of Belgium beers, well chosen by our waiter Jörgen, were the perfect antidote to my cold. My partner had the Steak James... Good service and steaks - although they ignored our request for a rare T-bone steak by telling us we wanted it medium, when we made clear we didn't, and then, when it arrived more cooked than we wanted, and they could see our disappointment, they offered to cook it even more! They obviously treatred us like that because we are... More

I booked online through the link on Tri[p Advisor as we were visiting on a Saturday night. I would recommend booking at busy times as if we had not done so we would not have got in here. The service was excellent, I booked for 8pm and as we were still enjoying a drink in the many nearby bars I... More
