good meal in nice location

Nice meal. Service a bit slow but it was heaving oN a Saturday night. Food good and good value too. Seemed to be primarily a place for steaks and meat. Very traditional.

Lovely meal in central location. I'd booked ahead to make sure that there were gluten free options. All of our meals were delicious and the Flemish stew very hearty, would recommend a visit.

Had a great Flemish stew here! Too much food for me to finish, so the rest at our table finished my plate and loved it! We had a big party and they were so accommodating, and our server Jorgen was helpful, nice and quick to get us refills on beers! Thanks for a great, memorable dinner. Loved the location and... More

How can you mess up a bolognese? Apparently, when you put vermicelli together with plastic cheese, the above is achievable. As my friend put it: thank god the waitress is cute!

Had a wonderful dinner with friends while in Ghent for a convention. There were 10 of us and the staff did a great job of attending to us. I had the James Bond steak and it was very good. I meant to remember the waiters names, but sadly I forgot, but nevertheless, he served us well.

We chose this restaurant after reading fave able reviews on Tripadvisor, the tables outside were busy so we decided to eat inside. The restaurant felt spacious and airy, we ordered chateaubriand for 2 with frites & side salad when the waiter came he showed us the steak, before taking it away to be cut up. We opted for a homemade... More

Our second time here and not disappointed! We sat outside as the evening was very nice. We took the T Bone for 2 (1150g - really a cow with its horns pulled out!) which was amazing; so much so, we couldn't finish it. The location is great as you can watch what is going on in the square and the... More

Good for massive steaks including T-bones to share and good beer to wash it down. Central location for all bars and pubs.

For a busy restaurant on a nice summer evening the waiters were extremely efficient. We sat on an outside table and enjoyed our meal watching the world pass by. The starter of shrimp croquette maison was very tasty as was my tournedos steak with a superb "James Bond sauce" ( pepper and mushroom) BUT the fillet steak chosen by my... More

This was our favourite restaurant of the three we visited in Ghent. Despite having made a reservation we were told there was no room on the terrace which was a bit disappointing so we ate inside instead. The food was of the highest quality - prawns in garlic for starters and then we both had rump steaks which were really... More
