A GEM FOR TAPAS IN THE ICONIC PATERSHOL!

Very beautiful small place for snacks of meat and other recipes of Belgium. the people are friendly and mostly young, the service is good, the variety of beers and wines (included Sangria) is good enough, the prices are logical, so i can't see any reason that you shouldn't visit this place! only if... read more

Good food Wonderful service The only remark is that they should season their food a little bit more. It was a little bit dissapointing the taste of the shrimps and the lack of olives! There were only 4 olives on the plate. 2 green and 2 black ones! All in all a nice experience .

Tapas is one of our favourite foods, so we were delighted to find this little restaurant in one of the back streets. The first evening we called in it was full, so we booked for the Sunday evening; just as well, because it was full when we arrived, and when tables came free, they were quickly filled again with other... It's off the beaten track but seek it out, the food is wonderful! Very friendly waitress with good Englsh, only too pleased to offer advice on the dishes. The Catalan toast was a delight as were the meatballs and Potatoes. Very resonably priced and prompt service.

So lucky we got a cancellation and ate their on or last night. The food is so good. Better even than many tapas we have had in Spain! The range of dishes is great and all delicious. I never normally like meet balls but when I tried one of my partners, I wanted more... that's a first so I really... More

Great little restaurant just off the beaten path. For appetizers we had the meatball and shrimp tapas. Dinner was lamb and prime rib. Love the atmosphere.

We ate here on our first night in Ghent, having booked a table in advance from the UK via email. We were very pleased with everything when we arrived, such a cosy and friendly little restaurant, serving good quality food and lovely wine, all at very reasonable prices. Only about 6 tables in total, but the table was ours for... More

Booked a table for 6.30 and the place was soon packed out. A small and intimate cafe style restaurant with excellent service just a few yards from our hotel, hotel harmony, which was great as there was heavy rain. Plenty of choice on the menu and good quality tapas.

Casa de las tapas is a small restaurant in the historic "Patershol" neighborhood in Ghent. That area is jam-packed with great restaurants, but this tapas place must be one of my favorites. It's a small place and it can feel a little crowded; it's definitely best to make a reservation if you want to be sure to find a place... More

I knew that this was the real thing when I called to make reservations!! The lovely Spanish accent started our conversation and from there, , they made you feel like family. Great timely service, fresh seafood, tortillas and good wine. This was our first time so we order the mixed plates with samples of several of their dishes.when you call, asked... More
