My partner and I ate here on a Sunday evening, arriving right on opening time (6pm) and by 6:25 the place was full, although it is only small. The tapas is excellent, the seafood paella fantastic and loaded with seafood. We have also started previous meals here with a sherry, which although very retro was actually really nice as they... Stumbled across this place by accident and very pleased I did. The food was magnificent, very tasty and represented excellent value for money. I would describe the restaurant as cosy yet homely with just a handful of tables so I would either turn up when they open or book. It is has been added to my "return to" list.

Very, very surprised to read the poor review re the food as we though it was excellent. The service was very friendly and the gambas were excellent. We eat tapas a lot at home and abroad and I couldn't really fault the food, particularly for the price.

The wine list is reasonably priced. That's the only good thing I can say concerning the food. Every and each dish we ordered was badly cooked. The paella was horrible. Soggy, over-coocked rice and dry seafood. To quote Conrad: "the horror, the horror!". I cannot give one star to the place, because the waitress was incredibly kind. That said, I... More

Once found, nestled in the allyways of Old Taipa Village, this restaurant is a little gem. The ambiance is quite charming. With a small Bar / Restaurant area on the ground floor & another on the 1st floor, it is a nice place to stop by for drinks & snacks. The main restaurant seating area is located on the 2nd... More

A nice, intimate restaurant for enjoying some classic well prepared tapas. Our waitress was very friendly. Great portion sizes and the paella was loaded with quality ingredients. Wasn't majorly impressed with the wine but then maybe we didn't chose very well. Worth a visit if in Ghent and fancy some tapas.

Took our children here after a day of sightseeing - it is set on a sparsely traveled road just off the canals near the city center. Very good food (great smelt, excellent cheese plate), charming Spanish decor and excellent service. We really enjoyed ourselves and I'll send everyone I know here if they are passing through.

Even though we turned our stop signs over the food kept coming. It was tasty but a little like a franchised eatery. Probably not the place if you want a small meal but if your hungry, it's the place. Good wine.

This is a very small place in the most amazing area of Ghent (the Patershol), i.e. a fascinating medieval neighborhood. You'll find plenty of restaurants around here, but if you are a couple looking for a friendly and not too much over-priced place were to have a romantic dinner, I highly recommend this one. We have been welcomed by one... More
