had enquired about coeliac restrictions for my wife and these were catered for - the wine was superb and the food - my wife had fish and myself steak - also great - its a little pricey but because of the unusual location within an old disused warehouse - its quirkeyness is worth seeing - also you MUST book we... This restaurant is situated into an old warehouse. it has been refurbished in a magnificent way and now it also has an original terrace outside. Anyone who enters this facility is thoroughly impressed, and they should be. it's truly amazing. The food was not bad, but I would have liked it to have more taste. it seemed as if the... More

Pakhuis had been recommended to us by a local "foodie", so we were excited to have dinner there. Because we did not make a reservation, our first attempt to eat there was denied, but we make a reservation for the next evening. It was definitely worth the effort to find the restaurant and to make a reservation in advance. The... More

I visited the Pakhuis with an associate last summer. The hostess was firm and abrupt, and my associate was put off but I encouraged him to sit and have a beer while they readied our table, which they said would be an hour. They brought us menus and asked us to order even though they told us we could not... More

We had dinner here on a warm summer evening, and opted to sit outside. The outside seating is on an urban alleyway, currently near a construction area, so the atmosphere was not very special. However, the beautiful dishes and the friendly welcoming server compensated. That said, the restaurant seems to be understaffed as our server seemed to be working more... More

When in Ghent, it's usually our meeting point with friends and family at the bar. Little bit pricy but the decor is worth it. Old warehouse that was converted in a restaurant.

The food was good and sitting outside on a warm summer evening was great! The wines paired with the dishes were perfect matches, however I must sat the menu's are a bit pricey for the city....however you do get what you pay for! Definitely recommend this place.

The food was average, but nothing special. They were very crowded and wait staff was not very responsive. Disappointed as it came highly recommended.

We tried the Belga Queen but the kitchen was closing so they referred us to the Pakhuis. The staff was very kind and accommodating. The food took a while to arrive but it was worth the wait: fresh, tasty and reasonably priced. Thanks for accomodating a very late service! Wife and daughter were delighted

Steak limousin was just OK. Must have taken some time after it was prepared to be served and wasn't really all that warm by the time it came. Bacon served with vegetables was limp, and the vegetables were cold. Quiche and salad were very good. Nice atmosphere, a bit loud. Waiter inattentive. Note to american clients - sign up front...
