Truly world class culinary delights

A truly exceptional evening in every way. We had the 'surprise' set menu. Each course was both a work of art and a culinary delight. Following good reviews we reserved in this restaurant when we were on weekend in Gent. It was far from the centre but I hoped it would be worth. I had visited first their website and I planned to order their surprise menu. All other menu's must be reserved before. On our evening, we could not order the menu but only... More

When seeing the prices on the menu, I was almost expecting food equal to a star restaurant but the food did not really meet my expectations. We often been to more expensive restaurants that do not reach the level of this place. The warm welcome, delicious cuisine and fine wines make this a top place in Ghent in terms of price / quality ratio. We live nearby and now regret that we haven't been before. Definitely worth repeating.

But to my pleasant surprise the restaurant really is top class, but quite modest in atmosphere and pricing. But I invited quite some people for... More
