If you love lobster this is THE place to be! À rather " special " furnished restaurant where we ate grilled lobster, so delicious you'll lick your fingers. Do NOT hesitate, try it and you'll see!!! Enjoy ;-)

We had booked this restaurant and was pleased that we did as it does get busy and it is a small place - they have a terrace but we had gone in January. The food was wonderful and I had telephone the restaurant prior to visiting to let them know that I am vegetarian - this place is for lobster... More

We had an absolutely great dinner here on december 21 of 2014. We had the "Lobster Carrousel" menu which was absolutely great, consisting of 6 different preparations of lobster. The interior of the restaurant is very special as well! We will go back in the summer because they have a terrace that is right by the water. The waiter downstairs... More

Just fantastic, great cozy atmosphere yet private. You need to book weeks ahead. Recommend the lobster menu prepared six ways.

This is just something else then the standard restaurants. It mainly is lobster and the service is perfect. Informal, they have time for you as a customer and they really like to serve you. We will come back to Gent again and will eat here again. We wish them all the best for the future and keep up the good... More

The first time I visited House of Elliot was in 2009. The place was small, but it felt cosy and comfortable. I was astonished of the quality of food. At that time a lobster taste menu (what is now known as carousel) consisted of full 1.5 lobster(!) (3 halves) cooked 3 different ways. Now this dish consist of just half... More

What makes this restaurant so fantastic is the fact that the owner has put his heart and soul into making the food live up to the restaurant's fantastic aesthetics. Forget what that person below wrote, I genuinely have never encountered a more charming and welcoming host... ...Admittedly, he initially turned us away on account of the place being fully booked... My friend and I waited outside of this spot until it was open and when we walked in the owner told us to come in. When we asked to see the menu he told us what he was cooking that night and right as we were about to tell him that we would like to join them for dinner he... More

I went to this restaurant solely based on the reviews here and I was not disappointed. Its a small place so you are best to book and the decor is eclectic. Think Trois Garcon in Shoreditch, so taxidermy, old haute couture dresses and elaborate wallpaper. There is a menu with a la carte choices, but it seems the speciality was... More
