The restaurant is always busy so you may have to wait a while. They just keep bringing ribs til you can eat no more. They do have other things on the menu but it's known for ribs. If you want pudding you are greedy, I couldn't eat another thing!

Perfect ribs... Great Atmosphere, good house wine, the perfect end to a great day out... The menu is limited for a reason, the ribs are excellent! Served with a Jacket Potato and 'house sauce', ( I need that recipe!!!) and salad, all washed down with a robust house red.

The surrounding, the artistic book-shelf decor, the charming, witty and cheerful waiter - it all seemed a stage for something spectacular and one of a kind. Well. The food failed to live up to expectations. I did get a great chunk of ribs, but it tasted rather plainly - for my standards the ribs were overcooked and did not give... More

Great food. Unique setting. Very 1930's with Tiffany decor. Very central near to St Bavo's cathedral

Returned again to this city centre favourite mid week and quiet early found it busy and dining alone was stuck in a corner by door and largely ignored - contrast to my summer visit. Food plentiful and tasty but with so much choice in town need to stay friendly and attentive.

Book, it gets busy. This is one of the most fabulous restaurants in Ghent - a real treat, especially if you like meat. Give it a go, you won't be disappointed.

I've been visiting Ghent on and off for 20 years on Business and always gone here with colleagues. This time I took the family and they were pleased with my choice. The staff were friendly and great, food was as good as usual and we all left full and happy.

My wife and I had a few days in Ghent in October and stayed in the Novotel hotel in the centre of Ghent. Just round the corner we found Amadeus Restaurant. It claims to serve the best ribs in Belgium, and we would have to agree. The ribs are huge, but not sweet and sticky Chinese style: these are moist... More

Nice and famous restaurant. Spare ribs as much as man can eat are their speciality. If you like this meat and don't want to spent too much money worth a visit. Nice typical Old Flemish building. The food is not my personal cup of tea but fair enough.
