A group of us attended this restaurant this evening. It was a special occasion (a 50th birthday celebration). We were initially impressed by the ambiance and the menu (although very pricey - particularly the starters). Things started to go wrong when we asked for tap water (rather than bottled water). The waiter appeared to agree to this request but proceeded... More

We ordered the 4 dish degustation menu with the adapted whine. Dishes looked and tasted delightful. Every dish was accompanied with a custom whine that was carefully selected. The setting itself is also nice, it has an 18th century touch to it. Bill: 168 euros including 2 aperitifs, two 4-dish menu's, adapted whine and 2 coffee's, it was worth every... More

Thanks to trip advisor, we discovered this fabulous restaurant. We first enjoyed a champagne appertive paired with fresh oysters and then had the four course meal. We shared a bottle of Grand Cuvee and it was only 38euros. It was by far, way too much food for us, but when the desserts arrived- we couldn't say no. My friends had... More

Been there twice for very different occasions... once with colleagues from all over Europe and once for Valentine's day. And in both cases I was very happy with the choice. The environment is perfect, the food delicious, the service very good!

Just left the restaurant. An excellent experience with friendly staff. Overcharged by 6 euros but this was dealt with satisfactorily. The food was interesting and not far short of a Michelin star. The wine pairings were generous but weren't always explained. I would not hesitate to come here again. A bonus to the evening was the lovely old building and... More

We went there with my boyfriend and his parents an had a fantastic evening. We choose the menu and really enjoyed it. The appetizer was delicious, the starter was king crab and it was the best, soup was also very good and was served in a nice way. The main corse was exquisite! The combination of ingredients was original but... More

Very nice experience. Romantic scenery, refined degustation menu with excellent matching wines. Finding a parking spot was quite difficult and stressful due to a roadblock in the center of Ghent. Thanks to the understanding maître d'hôtel we were offered a private parking spot. Now that's what I call service. I cannot disagree more with the previous review: we found the... More

In principle a nice restaurant but we had to wait more then an hour for the main dish, we got a drink on the house. The starter was ok but not exciting, as main dish we had an excellent fazant and a nice beef filet with liver. The creme mouleux should also come with delay but was then cancelled due... More

The food is very good; the dessert was one of the best I have never tasted! Quit traditional with a small touch of Italian inspiration. Service is good as well: not too fast, not too slow for this kind of restaurant. The decoration could be a bit too much but perfect for a romantic diner.
