The small but beautifull restaurant Da Pino in Ghent is a hidden gem. Allthough his cuisine is a bit adapted to Belgian "eaters", you will always have good and home made Italian food. I have been at Pinos multiple times, and every time it was very good. As it is a small restaurant, make a reservation in advance. The restaurant... More

A very small restaurant, so make sure you make your reservation in time. The service is very good (in contrast to what some people say). Top pizzas and pastas and a nice atmosphere.

this is a wonderful place, a little hidden also because they are building a shopping mall next door (keeping the old facade though!) and it's like stepping into mama's living room. It's small but we got a window seat (without a reservation) and the food is simply delicious.

We are foreigners, but living in Gent now. First went there with some locals and had a nice experience. The food is good. However, on our second experience, when we went alone, we found the service to be quite rude. We were refused a table even though there were several available. Eventually they served us, forgot our order and when... More

Very good food. Ok service and nice atmosphere. I enjoyed the mail and the setting. Especially the fact that it's slow food. You get ample time to talk with your company because the mails don't come in a rush. Relax and enjoy.

Don't expect a posh setting. Just expect the best Italian kitchen in Eastern Flanders made by master saucemaker Pino. Try the brasciola dei fratelli: just awesome with fresh in olive oil baked fries !

This small italian restaurant is not at all situated in the tourist area of the city but was really a very pleasant discovery. We came in late and the choice of food was limited but the lasagna and the pizza served were both very tasty. The wine recommended by the chef from Puglia was nice although priced a bit on... More

I live in Ghent since I was born and I love italian cuisine. There are many italian restaurants in Ghent, and I believe I visited them all. To me, Da Pino is the best ! No nonsense service, a great cook from the south of Italy prepares real italian food. Pino gets you everything fresh and directly imported from Italy.... More

In 2 years this is the best pizza I ate in Belgium. Lovely and really, really Italian pizza! Not particularly cheap, but I'm looking forward to go again.

We ate here last saturday and it was absolutely fabulous! Do ask for the homemade bruscetta! Never ate as good Italian food as here! Very friendly staff and owners! The food is excellent and they serve the best Italian coffee (Segafredo). Tip: Don't forget to make a reservation cause the restaurant is pretty small. And don't wear too many clothes... More
