Great mediterranean food, excellent service.

A while ago, I vistited Villa Bardon with 2 friends, after wanting to go there for a while. I had a mediterranean roasted cockerel, with vegetables and oven-baked potatoes. I also had the chocolate mousse which was deliciously spicy, and a home made Limoncello. To be really honest, the food was... read more

To our surprise, the place didn't turn out to be as magnificent as it is presented. The food is very specific, not bad actually but definitely far from divine or unsurpassed, it is really not that case. The bill was too high for the impression that we got: when everything is perfect, you don't mind paying more than u were... More

We found Villa Bardon by looking at the map. Very glad we stumbled onto this restaurant. Excellent service, staff translated and explained the menu for us. We both had the special (pappardelle with wild boar ragout) which was excellent. Finished with dessert (chili chocolate mousse and creme brûlée). Very reasonably priced and food was very flavorful. We intend to go... More

We honeymooned in Ghent in April, and Villa Bardon was recommended to us by our B&B host. We saved it for our last night and it was sublime (search my reviews to see what I had to say about it.) After a week in Berlin, we were driving back to the UK and decided to stop in Ghent for a... More

The menu isn't vast, though I suspect the specials change daily. Good, flavoursome and well handled ingredients. Everything tasted just right making for an enjoyable evening.

Enjoyed a very nice dinner at this lovely restaurant. The service was both welcoming and excellent. I chose a house special of bison pasta but unfortunately didn't care for the flavour. But my son liked his lsteak dinner. Appetizer was delicious. A bit pricey but worth the visit.

We tried this restaurant as we read the reviews on Tripadvisor and wanted something different from traditional Italian restaurants. It was a hit. The owners have created a great concept in a very nice restaurant with an authentic mediterranean look. There is not a lot of choice but the choice you have is great. The lady of the house is... We visited Villa Bardon on Monday the 20th and had a fantastic dinning experience. The staff were extremely friendly and the food awesome. We had the fish (Sea Bass) it was cooked to perfection. I had the chilli chocolate mousse dessert and it was fabulous. The chef Maarten chatted with us as did Anna. I would strongly recommend a visit to... More

Another little gem. I think Brussels needs to watch its back. Ghent is fast becoming a foodie paradise! Went with a group of friends and it was just great. Good fresh food cooked to perfection. We shared the antipasta and calamari which were excellent. 4 of the 5 ordered one of the specials....pasta with mixed fish and seafood, the plates... More

This is a nice place, where quality prevails on quantity (Non multa, sed multum). Nothing more to say. Just go & experience it.
