Good breakfast destination

We have chosen this coffee bar specially to try famous Belgian waffles. And we made a very good choice. We had waffles with fruits and strawberries and it was unforgettable meal. Don't afraid to order strawberries as long as they are on offer in this bar. There are supplied by one selected producer who guarantee quality through all season and... More

After reading the reviews on Tripadvisor, we decided to try this restaurant for breakfast on our first morning. We got there late morning and the staff were really friendly and welcoming. The breakfast is a twist on continental fare. I had an omelette with bacon and my partner had the platter, which consisted of various breads and rolls, ham, cheese,... More

We found the staff to be very rude when we visited in April 2015. We were really looking forward to eating there but we're very disappointed by the attitude of the waiters. Would definitely not recommend.

Visited Brasserie Agrea last year when we were in Ghent and it did not disappoint then. Nice to return to a place that got your thumbs up previously. Varied menu, in several languages, with something for everyone. Very pleasant welcoming staff. Ordered a goat’s cheese salad and my wife had a trio of pancakes with jam. Service was quick, food... The service was friendly but food wasn't exceptional: we had a cheese omelette and a toast. The omelette was too cooked and with little cheese. The toast was quite dry and not different from one that you can do at home. Still a place to go after a visit to the cathedral in a chilly cold day

We had breakfast here both the days we stayed in Ghent and it was great. The woman serving us remembered us and our conversation from the day before and was very cheerful and provided great service. The breakfasts were very fresh and very tasty and a great price. I plan on going back here when I am in Ghent again... More

Very nice and friendly staff, great place for breakfast any day - even more so on cold winter morning! Waffles are to sell your soul for - try and choose your favourite kind, I'm sure anyone can find what they like.

We went into Brasserie Agrea to get away from the driving snow outside. I chose Croque Bolognaise, which I hadn't heard of before. It turned out to be a Croque Monsieur (a toasted ham and cheese sandwich) with bolognaise sauce on top. Sounds awful but it was actually very tasty and just what was needed on a cold, miserable day.... More

The best Gentse Waterzooi I had so far in Ghent! Not too salty, quite creamy and big pieces of delicious chicken. And you receive bread and butter with it. It is very delicious, I would recommend this dish for people who want to try something local. For dessert, the famous Brussels Waffle with Belgian strawberries. Mmmm :-) You will be... More
