Great atmosphere & delicious food

Went with business relations for a great dinner with Moules frites. Delicious and well prepared. Even though it was the last of the season. Fries were excellent 😄 Service was good and efficient. Good selection of both food & drinks.

We had a warm welcome one chilly Saturday evening. Our order was promptly taken, and we settled down to a very reasonably priced flask of red wine. Our food was excellent. Between us we had a very rich fish stew, with lots of flavour and nicely cooked vegetables, and grilled lamb with chips. The bill was not as high as... More

Unfortunately a bit of a generic tourist restaurant. Food was ok, could have been worse, but don't go here if you want something interesting. Massive portions though!

During our first weekend in Gent, a good while ago, my family stopped at Bridge for lunch. I had some amazing mussels and we just had a nice time, even when the heavens opened to a downpour that left us scrambling inside for cover. Since that first time we have come back often, there is a good selection of Gent... More

Went here last minute, was very busy which is always a good indicator in my book. Ordered the mussels in garlic and cream....1.5kg portion....amazing! A lot for one person so I would recommend sharing as it comes with chips. Two portions of mussels with chips, a tea and fizzy water came to €59 (€27 each portion of mussels) well worth... More

We went there on a Sunday evening after going to a theatre in the afternoon. The staff was very friendly. When we stepped in the place seemed full but the staff managed to ask some of the guests to change tables so that we got a nice table for the 4 of us. We had a decent meal. Not fine... More

Booked this very late for December 30th and they managed to squeeze our party of 13 in. We had a mixture of main courses and all were happy. I had the waterzooi which was plentiful and tasty whilst others had steaks with plenty of chips and salad but all good quality. Location was also great overlooking the cathedral square and... More

Had a meal for two at the bridge, excellent front of house staff, kind and friendly. Food was good and the portion sizes were amazing. Some good beers and wines on offer too, enjoyable experience.

My husband and I were attending a conference in Antwerp and we went to Ghent for the day. We ended up eating at The Bridge. We tried the local Belgium speciality, waterzooi. That's a chicken and vegetavle stew with just a bit of cream. It was great and now that we're home we are going to try to duplicate it.... More

Nothing could be more satisfying than having breakfast in a medieval environment. No argument with the waffle but it's to die for. The toilet is the only downside.
