The menu is quite limited, but the lobster is well prepared. So if you are a fan of lobster, this is your place.

We went to the restaurant on a saturday evening and it was fully booked so were lucky to have a made a reservation. The choice on the menu is limited, so if you do not like lobster you should go to another restaurant. Sevice was very friendly and the food was excellently prepared.

We had a lovely meal in this tiny restaurant but there was not much else other than lobster - the clue is in the name! There is no choice of puddings - just the one house pudding. It was all delicious though and a real treat. We'd definitely recommend it and thought it had lots of atmosphere.

My husband & I had the set menu for 50€ which consisted of 3 courses (two baby lobsters) and a brûlée for desert. It was really delicious and the wine they recommended was very good too. The restaurant is let down by the slow (though friendly) service; it's nice to relax over a meal, but to wait 45 minutes between... More

We went to Le homard rouge to have a nice dinner and did not regret our choice. We chose the 3 course menu with salmon tartar, scallops, a sorbet and 1/2 lobster. Everything was well-prepared, fresh and tasted well. The price was absolutely justified for what you get. It's not haute cuisine but on a high level. Only little downside:... More

It was an evening in the latter part of September when we chose to dine at Le Homard Rouge. It had turned warm during the day and everyone had chosen to eat out on the terrace overlooking the canal. We decided to do likewise. It really was very pleasant. We chose the Grand Menu which included a lobster each, served... More

This is our second review of this restaurant. This time, we had chosen the 'Birthday' arrangement for 4 persons at 57 euros (one was free, see www.lehomardrouge.be). The theme was asparagus with lobster. The location, the interior decoration, the food, the music, the wine, the service from the first minute to the last one ... just perfect!

N51°3'16.3" E3°43'27.8" Lobster is their speciality, although they serve fresh fish for those who do not enjoy lobster. But the main reason to eat at Le Homard Rouge is lobster, prepared in many different ways. Staff will explain the differences. We choose Le Petit Menu with a glass of cava and amuse-bouche, beef carpaccio with basil oil and Parmesan chips,... More

Very nice lobster-restaurant that we visited already quite a few times during summer. They have a nice menu with 3 lobster-dishes that I would recommend to everyone ... Not only the food was good but the service is great !!! You can enjoy you meal outside if you want (and if the weather is fine).

I'm a huge fan of lobster, especially European lobster, which has so much meat in parts other than tail and claws (unlike its North American cousin). If you too are a fan, then you'll love Le Homard Rouge. Apart from a few dishes of giant prawns, lobster is all there is. But what a choice! Lobster cooked any which way,... More
