This brasserie/restaurant is very well located by the river in the centre of Dinant. We, two families of a total of seven people, were found ourselves there almost accidentally as we had not timely reserved any other place. The food is good, of a quality expected in such an establishment. The service is average, but efficient though. Overall, either for... More

This is a nice location for a spot of lunch or dinner in the town, food good but service didn't come with a smile, prices a little above average but pleasant clean cafe bar on the river.

We had lunch at the Leffe Cafe which is located right across from the cathedral main entrance. We ordered lasagne, the Liege meatballs and an entrecôte steak with pepper creme sauce. The service was prompt and food did not take long. It arrived at the same time and all three dishes tasted very good. The salad on the plate was... More

Good beer and unbeatable location along the Meuse and opposite the cathedral. Food and service was decent though not spectacular. Relaxed atmosphere that drew in both locals and tourists.

At a great location on the Meuse, this cafe serves nice meals. The service was very friendly and fast. Especially with young kids this is great. We had a trout, chicken and meatballs and they were all good food for a fair price.

Brasserie overlooking the river, right in the centre of town. Atmosphere was great, locals and tourist. Trout with wine sauce is worth trying, so is the duck. Service was good, waiters were casual but adds to the relaxed atmosphere.

I first went to the Cafe Leffe some 10 years ago, and was rather disappointed that it seems to be stuck in a time warp, and is now looking rather tired. The beer is excellent as always, but the service was slow and indifferent, and the food, although it looked reasonable, was pricier than in other restaurants. After waiting some... More

this café Leffe, has a big choice of good food, we eated there twice, and it was both the times good, and well served, and, also very important, with a smile! You have a good view on the Meuse, and you can sit there with a drink or something to eat, we will return there!

We had a nice (although a little pricey - but so it the area) meal here, as we were here just as off-season hit. The steak, chicken with Leffe sauce, etc was all lovely, although the service was lacking. Perhaps it was because we do not speak the language, but we got our meals and never saw our server again.... Really struggled to make up our minds for somewhere to eat this day. Pleased we found this place, the food was very Belgian and they were great with my two year old son. There are some accessibility issues for the veranda and the toilets and the service was a little sporadic. However overall I'll go back there, I had the... More
