Good good, fast service

We were expecting a potent entisl tourist trap, yet we found a good Belgian restaurant with lightning fast service. Excellent food in the heart of Bastogne. I would say that this food was more french in its menu. It is a mid range restaurant with friendly staff and great options for food.

We got a seat for two easily in the train setting and things looked promising. The Saint Marcellin appetizer was great! The Moules Frites was surprisingly bland. The sauce literally had no flavor, which is odd for Mussels. The bolognese sauce was on the sweet side rather than the savory flavor we like (the portion will last you for two... More

On a short tour with 7 friends we visited this restaurant on a Friday evening. Because of the size of our party we sat at the back of the restaurant close to the patio which was an inspired position on a hot evening. The set menus are excellent value for money, the service is good and the food is faultless.... More

The Wagon Leo, which is a restaurant in a stage coach, is located in the city center. The best thing about the restaurant is how it looks. The food quality is poor especially since you pay a lot for the meal. The wait staff is quite rude and acts insulted if you do not order a second course or a... More

We sat in the old train carriage with a nice big table just for two. The service was attentive, but not too much, and all the staff we met were dfriendly. The menu was quite large and we were not disappointed with the food. This place is underrated and well worth a visit. It is reccomended to reserve a table... More

We stopped with a large group touring WWII sites. The staff was absolutely wonderful, which is not usually the case when stopping with large groups. The meal was not particularly memorable with the exception of the pommes (fries)!

Met by a friendly waiter who gave us a menu in English. We chose mains only, I had the fillet steak with chips and green beans, my partner the hog. It was a delicious meal, the restaurant was full, a tip is come a little earlier before it fills. We went without reservation at 6:30pm. The 'car' is in effect... More

Ate there during my recent stay , i was trawling round for a place to eat and i was aware on the Wagon and it didn't look particularly busy so i went in , i got a seat in the front Wagon which by all accounts isn't easy to do ! Being not very busy i was seen to reasonably... More

After checking out the nearby 101st Airborne Museum, we dropped by this place for a local lunch, and were not disappointed. Their bread came with this amazing tomato spread that was simply delicious. Their shrimp croquettes were tasty, as was the wild boar that I had and the codfish my wife ordered. My only caveat would be that they are... More
