Very good location near the centre of Hasselt. While entering you can see a lot of effort have been made (succesfully) to give the restaurant a cosy Swiss look. However, unless fondue is completely new to you, the food itself is not that special. I guess more spices etc. could be used, but perhaps this does not fit Swiss cuisine.... More

I hope I visited this self-proclaimed Swiss cuisine restaurant on an off-day. The interior looks like a compilation of left-overs from various belgian Swiss Tourist Bureau "do's". Unfortunately the background music does in no way whatsoever reflect anything Swiss, nor does the crew by the way, as the Tannoys just played a local radio station rather than a Swiss station... More

First when we entered, we went for a drink on the terrace. Although the restaurant was fully booked they managed to get us a table. We went for the cheese fondue. I wouldn't go to La Vache Qui Suisse for a quiet meal: this place thrives on groups visiting. Expensive for what you get, but an OK choice when looking for a place for 10 people or more.

This fondue and raclette restaurant only works in the cold and dark season for me. But it really works then ! They have a summer menu but ... Nice service !
