Yummmm!

We ate here with 11 adults for a wedding celebration. We had the 3-course menu of the week with adjusted wines. All the courses were delicious!! For women the quantity was enough, some of the men were still hungry in the end. Quality over quantity - however the prices are completely worth what you... read more

This place has been around in the city of Hasselt for ages, and carries a good reputation. Given the fact that we had not been here before, even though we are locals who enjoy quite a bit of fine dining, and our venues of choice seemed to have their day off, we decided to give it a try. The place... More

We were in December in Hasselt. Last minute we booked a table. We took the set menu at 30 euro, which is really value for the money. High end food, great taste. My wife is allergic for seafood (shells, crab etc). The chef came straight to our table. Shorted it out and came with a alternative. This is how it... More

't Kleine Genoegen has been around forever in Hasselt and has always maintained a rather high standard. The place looks stylish but cosy, the staff is very friendly and efficient, and the cooking aims at subtle simplicity. There will be hits and misses (more hits than misses) on your plate, but it will definitely be worth your money. I would... More

My wife and me visited this restaurant multiple times over the last years and it has been a very pleasant experience each and every time. There are a la carte and chef selected tasting menus with an excellent wine selection. The tasting menus are modestly priced and excellent value for your money. Very friendly staff and the owner/chef always comes... More

Greeted by the Chef Patron who was very pleasant as were all the staff. It is a cleverly converted old building with a mezzanine floor and elegant white interior. There are à la cart and tasting menus. The food was excellent with great attention to detail. I had a Sole Meuniere and the sauce was in a separate dish useful... More

Although we had no reservation we arrive mid-week and, although a little busy, they had space for us. The atmosphere inside is very classy (perhaps a little too much for us in casual clothes) but I liked that we were still made to feel welcome. The menu is expensive if you only look at the specific dishes but there are... More

I know the small street where the restaurant is for many years and it never caught my eye... And today i took a friend there for her birthday. As soon as we opened the door we were happy with our choice. It's a small and cosy restaurant... But then came the food, the menu has names of the menu's they... More

A bit tucked away in a rather small street in the centre of Hasselt, this restaurant proved to be quite the pleasant surprise. After my graduation I went their for dinner with my parents and from starter to dessert we were baffled by the quality of the dishes. They've found quite a nice balance between surprising and more classical combinations... More
