Giovanni Oosters is a charming man

We stayed there in an excellent room with all modern confort. The 6 course dinner with appropriate wines was a delight. Everything was perfectly adapted to my unfortunate gluten and lactose allergies . Kind , helpfull, and very efficient professional staff. We will definitely come back.

Situated in the middle of nowhere we arrived at the restaurant. From the outside it looks like an old farm. When you enter the door it seems like you enter another world: a very nice restaurant. The food is good, the service very friendly. The fact that they have also a small bed and breakfast (only 5 rooms) makes it... More

My fiancée took me to this cozy, relaxed place for my birthday. It was our first time in a restaurant with a Michelin-star. Expectations were high, and completely fulfilled. Service was friendly and they knew what they were talking about, also very helpful with our allergy-specifications. Appetizers were unique and all the other dishes were really good. The recommended wines... More

Positive points: - Friendly service and fresh home-grown ingredients. Negatieve points: - Lack of attention for details. For example, the way the first course was served. Five different small dishes/cups per person, thus 20 for a table of 4 persons. The waitress thus had to move back and forth 10 times between our table and the table where she put... More

We had the three course meal and it was an amazing treat. The chef proves to be tremendously creative and focuses as much as possible on local produce, if possible even freshly grown from his own garden. You can actually visit the garden yourself and have a look at all the wonderful vegetables and herbs that happily grow there. Service... More

We did not know this restaurant as we are not from the region and we only occasionally look for top restaurants. We had phoned to reserve a room for the B&B and were informed that there were no longer rooms available for the requested night but there was still a place for two in case we wanted a table for... situated outside of Hasselt, we discovered this nice restaurant. Very friendly staff, nice setiing. An impressive winelist, not because it contains real blockbusters, but because it only has wines you won't easily find anywhere else. All very affordable. The food is ok, some dishes really worth the one star rating, others just above good. Conclusion: worth his Michelin rating, still... More

My wife invited me to have the 3 course lunch with the accompanying wine selection to celebrate Valentine last Friday at Vous Lé Vous. She made an excellent choice as it was a terrific meal in nice surroundings. We were lucky to get a table in the room where the open kitchen is installed. This allowed me to observe how... More

The dinner was a very nice suprice, we would not expected such a "honest cuisine" and great service. The building form outside is nothing special, but what you get inside you get a lot of specials: Starting with the kind, helpfull, profesional staff, very good food cooked from local sources and surpricing presentation of the dishes.. Special thanks to the... More
