Enjoyed an extensive multi-course meal with a group of about 30 people. Impressive management of the dishes for such a large group without giving in on delicate dish dressing or serving rythm. Kudos to the team. If anything can be suggested at all, I would personally simplify the dishes.

Went here with two couples to celebrate a birthday. My wife and me arrived a bit earlier than our guests. We announced that we would go for the 5 courses menu with wine arrangment. Were asked if we would already like a glass of champagne,we agreed. The second couple arrived a little later, our glass was empty in the meantime. They got... More

Inventive food and dito wines. The high prices go with the territory I suppose, but they were a bit to steep for a family meal. I only can hope I get invited by a business partner.

We had the fantastic menu on a Saturday evening. A good atmosphere and a fantastic service, added to that a delicious menu and a fine selection of exquisit wines. The menu was well balanced, but sometimes the chef added some items which didn't necessarily added someting to the quality. I would suggest focusing on the essential. Lst but not least;... More

Dinner on a weekday right after New Year ... the place was nearly packed and for all the good reasons. Very warmly welcomed, good house champagne and delicate appetizers. There is no 'a la carte' so we took the 4-course menu - very attractively priced - and the choices we made implied fish all the way (except desert :-)). Fresh... More

This is a top place on every level. Magnificent food, fine wines, excellent service in a relaxed atmosphere. Maybe not really cheap but you get so much value for money that's t's certainly worth it. It's a great "total experience" . Thank you De Kwizien !

I went there on a Sunday evening with one of my best friends and we were warmly welcomed with a smile. The place was empty though and I don't understand why: Original appetizers with a fair selected champagne, fine grilled turbot, exquisite sweetbread, the filet of hare could have been more focussed on (was kind of the most "basic" of... Went here with big expectations... But they were not met.. Overpriced mediocre food for it's price class... I had far better food/wine/service for the same money in other restaurants...

I went to this restaurant to celebrate my birthday with my boyfriend. It was a sunday evening and the restaurant was fully booked but they got a lot of cancellations due to a snow storm hittig the East of Belgium and Hasselt that day, so we were seated in a secluded corner, away from the three big groups of people...
