I used to come to this place rather frequently up to 6 / 7 years ago. I loved it, it was a very typical, friendly good value Brussels bistrot, serving perfect Belgian food. Coming back the other day I must say that I was not impressed. The staff is not as efficient and friendly as it used to be. The... More

The kitchen is great. Very fine cooking for a brasserie. I had a superb chicken with spinach and my partner crevettes with risotto. Excellent preparations. The white and red housewine was ok. Most of the customers were eating the set lunch menu at 16 euros. The other dishes are a bit overpriced. So I give them not the full 5... More

Went there this Sunday. The dishes were extremely good, great food, especially when it comes to the meat/fish dishes. The price is a bit high and the vegetarian options are not adequate. Overall, very good place to go eat!

We had dinner with some friends over here since we were looking for nice food in a restaurant with a terrace. I have to say that the terrace is not really nice since arranged in the walking area just few steps from the road. We had starter and main course: the croquette with shrimps are really tasteful and I can... More

For a local neighbourhood restaurant I wasn't expecting much and it lived up to being OK. I will say this, the manager does not seem to be able to stop himself from pulling faces behind customers backs. There is something arrogant about him. If you go in the evening like we did, it is better to reserve a table beforehand,... More

Le Toucan has been around forever and is a reliable place to dine with friends or family. The food is consistently good and the service is fast and attentive. There are very few options for vegetarians (vegans abstain!) but those they have are excellent - try the ricotta and spinach pasta with lemon and sage sauce, it's delicious! It is... More
