The food is fantastic, and so is the service! Wish I could go there all the time! Love the mood and menu choices are plentiful.

While visiting Brussels over the Easter weekend Toucan was our choice for our last evening and we definitely saved the best to last From the moment you enter there is a nice feeling about the place, a warm welcome , easy décor and a busy but attentive feel The service was excellent, the menu extensive and the food quality very... Le Toucan has been around forever and is a reliable place to dine with friends or family. The food is consistently good and the service is fast and attentive. There are very few options for vegetarians (vegans abstain!) but those they have are excellent - try the ricotta and spinach pasta with lemon and sage sauce, it's delicious! It is... More

We've been to the Toucan on a number of occasions - both the Brasserie and the seafood restaurant Toucan Sur Mer - and enjoyed our visits. The Brasserie serves traditional Brussels dishes and although not the best in the city they are nevertheless perfectly adequate. The pricing is reasonable but the service can be patchy dependent on when you go... More

Had lunch in this outstanding brasserie serving excellent Belgian and French food as well fresh seafood prepared by the écaillier (branch @ Toucan sur Mer). Service by the young ladies is efficient and with the smile. If you join by car, they offer valet parking. Nice and cosy decoration.

We had good friends visiting us, Rstaurant Toucan was within walking distance. We were there once before and thought food was good we try again - not the case. The wine we chose was off (can happen in any restaurant). 2 of 4 of us wanted an item on the menu, it was announced it was out of season. We... More

The Toucan brasserie is almost part of the landscape in Brussels' Ixelles quarter. It serves typical Belgian food, as well as a few more international dishes. We enjoyed the shrimp croquettes (a favourite of mine whne in Belgium) followed by the duck, and the chipirones followed by the chicken. Prices are fine, though portions are not huge - but the... I really enjoyed myself here because of the sunday night atmosphere but I was misled into thinking it would be a quite good culinary experience also. It wasn't. Basically whoever does the shopping deserves a ten out of ten. The produce was superb... But whoever decides what to do with it deserves a zero. There were some bonkers combinations of... More

This was not a deliberate choice but just a coincidence to be there around noon for a meeting in the neighborhood. So we jumped in for the traditional quick lunch and chose the menu of the day. While this is the brasserie kind of style, the food was very good. We had fish tartare and followed by a fish course.... More
