I went to this restaurant for lunch by accident as I was waiting to catch a taxi to the airport. I was impressed by the staff' kindness and level of service. The restaurant was pretty full but the service was fast and the quality of the food very very good. I had a salad with shrimps and opted for the... More

I went with my Girlfriend I'm now a fan of vietnamese food due to this restaurant. The first day we went late at night and they were closed, so we gave it a try one more time the next night. We didn't have reservations, but they recognised us from the night before, so they were kind and organised a nice... More

Le Nenuphar has not disappointed us. The restaurant offers a wide selection of tasty Vietnamese dishes. We chose a combination of starters, the Dim Sum and the Crayfish. Friendly and prompt service, the Alsace Pinot Noir was good. The only downside: The atmosphere in this restaurant is (like in most Asian restaurants) not very cozy / romantic. With a little... More

We spend a lovely evening with a dozen of friend just outside on the terrasse. The personnel we're giving us the impression we were their only client as the restaurant was full. We had a florilegio of their well known specialities ("poulet désossé" not to be missed) and newer plates, such as the fish "a la tonquinoise" wich sparkled my... More

Le Nenuphar is one of our favourites. It is not just the best Vietnamese Restaurant in Belgium, but also one of the very best restaurants. We visit at least twice a month and find that every other restaurant is compared with Nenuphar's excellent benchmarking. I think we have slowly worked our way through Le Nenuphar's extensive menu and whether with... More

I had never been to this restaurant and was really surprised. The food I can only describe as outstanding, I have rarely eaten so well anywhere in the world. The assortment of entrées was delicious, and the fish exquisite. The staff could be somewhat friendlier, but they are rather matter-of-fact. We were seated in the mezzanine, with a beautiful view... Very attentive professional and attentive service. Food was delicious, rooted in Vietnamese tradition with an original twist, outstanding, creative and fresh. We got a chilled red Elsace wine (Pinot Noir). Forgot the name, but a perfect companion . Advisable for a business lunch (ask for a table in the back, with view on their garden).

It is difficult to believe that this place has 4.5 stars. Probably the worst vietnamese food we have ever tried, everything was extremely salty and overcooked, including the rice and the noodles, portions were small. The spring rolls were tasteless. The ambiance is plastiquey and cheap, the service was just ok, nothing to rave about it. We ended spending 60... More
