Tasty, unusual

It's Sunday brunch and we are really hungry having waited 1 1/2 hrs. at a place nearby at which we gave up. Two people working here and they were a marvel in politeness, efficiency, etc. The food was very good. Getting a little tire of Brussels restaurants saying "We're out of our house win and... read more

Knowing Brussels quite well, this is a really nice and cosy place where I like to meet with friends, and have good good to eat. Very internallional menue card offerings: super burgers, veggy, excellent Ghentse Waterzooi,...Easy location, next to Manneken Pis.

This place needs to be discovered. The food was fantastic. Our group of 9 all raved about this place. All the food arrived together, it was hot , fresh and given some love before it was presented to us. 9/10 Its hard to find fresh loved food in Brussels. You are bombarded by haglers to "come in" everywhere but not... More

This is one of my favorite bar/restaurants in Brussels. Although located in the central area it is not too touristy. The bar area is newly refurbished with a collection of old suitcases and you can sit and enjoy your drink in an exotic, colonial atmosphere. There is also an outside sitting area, for those rare days when the weather is... More

The salmon that was served to me today at Le cercle des voyageurs was unfortunately not fresh. The reaction of the waiter: all (...) cooks have tasted and are of the opinion that everything is ok. Funny. Since the taste was clearly not ok, I did not want to take any risks, and refused the dish. At the end of... More

This place has a nice atmosphere and the food is very good. I had blanc bleu belge, a wonderful steak. Also the bearnaise sauce was good, and the vegetables along with the steak (I asked for them even if frites are really good in Brussels). Nothing to object, not the cheapest place, but the food is worth the price.

I had to arrange a business dinner for 30 people who were attending an event in Brussels and the staff at this restaurant were very accommodating - we were seated together in a separate section of the restaurant which overlooked the bar. This meant that we were able to talk together but there was still a lively atmosphere. The set... More

One of the worst experiences in Brussels (living in Brussels for almost three years). We went for a drink and a staff member insisted that we wait until we are "seated", although several tables were empty (except one or two that were marked as reserved). We waited for 10 minutes and nothing happened - no table was cleaned, nor any... More

The waitress and barmaids just ignore you ... cleaning the table next to you, speaking to each other with a lot of serious ... Oh My God who are you to pretend to disturb them? Those young guys seems full of their person .... A quarter to get my glass of white wine ... Not even a smile, just pretentious... More
