Worth the line

Stood in line for 40 min for the frites. Fantastic fries. It's all takeout but you can eat at the neighborhood pubs. Fries are great as are the other skewers and dishes. Greasy yes but so good. The fries are perfectly crispy. Double fried.

So many choices for dipping sauces. We got a table at a nearby bar to sit outside and enjoy the frites with a beer. Truly a memorable experience!

Unfortunately, we never came to taste the french fries. After 1h of queueing in the freezing cold, we still were not at one half of the queue and abandoned. Just don't go there at noon a cold and rainy day...

You want fries, the best fries.... go to Maison Antoine. No frills kiosk with long lines but worth the wait. So many toppings/condiments to choose from. Best money spent in Brussels.

I've been there several times. They used to be good but now it's disgusting. Nothing to do with Belgium (I'm Belgian). I went there yesterday, they served me cold fries and sausage, horrible quality and a price higher than before, way too expensive for what i got. I feel like having thrown my money into the garbage.

Antoine is famous for the quality and variety of fries available. If on a tourist trip, I recommend connecting it with the visit to the EU quarter. In a nice weather, take your fries with you, sit in one of the pubs on Place Jourdan and enjoy your fries with a good Belgian beer.

Best frites - best (friendly! happy!) service - low price - great sauces - and great side dishes such as croquettes or sausages.

Wow...I thought the best fries were at this shop just off the Central Station. I have seen the light: Maison Antoine, in the Schuman section of Brussels, serves the best fries I have ever eaten. We arrived Sunday afternoon...lines on both sides of the small store. 3 Euro gets you a generous serving of fries and a choice of over... More

This place gets quite a beat up everywhere you go in Brussels, and the frites throughout the city are amazing, but this place is not to be missed. Its a good destination to hire a bike and cycle out to, takes you past the EU buildings, etc. but the frites are out of control.

an institution since 1948 ! you are to be patient (50 minutes queuing on sunday noon) but it is more than worth, maybe the best fries in the world (a belgian friend of mine told me that there are excellent fries at Flagey square, but I didn't try them). When you are finally served, you can sit in one of... More
