Believe the hype

Best frites - best (friendly! happy!) service - low price - great sauces - and great side dishes such as croquettes or sausages.

Wow...I thought the best fries were at this shop just off the Central Station. I have seen the light: Maison Antoine, in the Schuman section of Brussels, serves the best fries I have ever eaten. We arrived Sunday afternoon...lines on both sides of the small store. 3 Euro gets you a generous serving of fries and a choice of over... More

This place gets quite a beat up everywhere you go in Brussels, and the frites throughout the city are amazing, but this place is not to be missed. Its a good destination to hire a bike and cycle out to, takes you past the EU buildings, etc. but the frites are out of control.

an institution since 1948 ! you are to be patient (50 minutes queuing on sunday noon) but it is more than worth, maybe the best fries in the world (a belgian friend of mine told me that there are excellent fries at Flagey square, but I didn't try them). When you are finally served, you can sit in one of... More

The best frites I've ever had. Simple. If you're ever in Brussels, you simply must take a trip to Place Jourdain and grab a bag of chips. The homemade tartare sauce is a great topping. If you get them to take away, they stay warm even on a 10 minute walk home. Enough said!

It's actually true that you can find here the best french fries, we made take away and we used these chips as starter before pizza, need to be tested ;)

According to the reviews Maison Antoine, is the place to get the best friet in Brussels. So I tried it. Coming from Holland, our standards are pretty high when it comes to friet. Belgium is not to only country where they can make good friet! But I have to admit, their friet are good. However, they do not take care... More

Maison Antoine is the best place for frites in Brussels and well worth a visit. The frites are so delicious and the list of sauces is very extensive. A few important things to know before ordering: andalouse sauce is a mixture of mayonnaise, tomato paste and peppers , and is extremely popular. Bicky sauce is part of belgian cuisine and... More

We wanted to try the best french fries, we first ate some frites in the city center and thought they were pretty good. The maison antoine is close to the european parliament, a little far for us and nothing much but office buildings, still we went for it. Best idea ever, the frites are amazing, I would marry those frites,... More

This place is the most famous in the whole of Brussels if not even Belgium for their fries! But don't expect anything fancy. It's pretty basic, you go there to have fries and that's exactly what you get. Some of the best fries in your life with many different sauces to choose from. The "Friture" is so popular that you...
