Not too bad

Stayed in a hotel nearby and decided to check on the hype. When I arrived there was no queue yet, but not too soon after it started to form, at both their windows. Fries were ok, not special. Guess I've been spoilt here in The Netherlands with various good places. But they were good to have after... read more

Great Frites, worth the wait, we think. Excellent value too. We had a couple of sauces, and some meat skewers which were all very tasty. It was nice to sit in one of the nearby bars (they all allow you to eat your chips there, so long as you buy a drink) and people watch. A great lunch stop if... More

Heard a lot of this place, how good it was supposed to be. So we tried it, and was very disappointed... It is a dirty place, and the fries a too greasy.. The place is way to overrated. Only good thing is the friendly service.

Had heard about the place and now we stumbled on it by random. Good service and great food. Simple and good, table and drinks arranged at nearby restaurant which cooperates with them. Kids loved it!

Was hoghly recommended the chips (fries) here. Was not disappointed. Had a friccadelle (sausage) which was already tasty.

The person behind the desk at our hotel recommended coming to try the fries. We thought that was a bit odd, as we had just arrived in Belgium for the first time so we knew nothing. After a nice walk, we found Maison Antoine and ordered a small without any sauces. We were not disappointed; actually quite the opposite. We... More

Delicious traditional Belgian fries. The portions are very generous, I ordered small fries and couldn't eat them by myself - although I wasn't that much hungry. I recommend getting them with sauce Andalouse :D.

If you're in Brussels, hop down to Place Jourdan to have a cone of frites from Maison Antoine. Not to be missed. They were the first frites I ever had in Belgium, and it was love at first bite. Maison Antoine has a large selection of sauces, so you can truly appreciate how Belgians eat fries - how they simply... More

Are they victims of their own success? They used to have the best, freshest fries in Brussels. I went thete last week and was very disappointed. Mediocre at best. Fries, not so tasty. Meat brochette raw, and my friend ordered spring rolls with sweet and sour sauce and got some horrid sauce for fries instead. Had to go back to... More
