We went to the Brussels for a long weekend and stayed at the Radisson nearby. Having read the TA reviews, we wanted to try Il Pasticcio. Unfortunately, the hotel had called for same-day reservations for a Friday night at 7pm, but they were booked.
We decided to walk by the restaurant anyway around 6:45 and asked if there was any...

My friends and I arrived late into Brussels and were looking for somewhere closeby to grab dinner. The hotel pointed us to a couple of restaurants down the street and we were drawn to this seemingly small, yet buzzing Italian restaurant tucked away. We were openly welcomed and told that a table would be free in about 20 minutes. We...

Undoubtedly one of the best, if not the best, pasta in Brussels. They always have a good selection and the option of combining the first three pastas on the menu du jour. The anti-pasti is also excellent both with or without the meat. the desserts are also excellent. Very good for a business lunch or Friday night with friends. They...

The food, atmosphere and service couldn't be faulted. The staff go out of there way to make it and experience. Great antipasto and pasta, not so sure about the limonello sorbet. Also very convenient for the European institutions.
I dined in a group for a late lunch. The food was good and the service pretty good. The basket of homemade breads was delicious - served with oil & balsamic vinegar. Some people shared a tray of antipasti, which looked delicious.
The portions in the mains were a bit variable - some plates piled high and some slightly smaller...

The mixed antipasti was really something, that's definitely recommended. Different pastas looked very promising and what's best, you can order one main course with three different pastas! Really nice way to taste different things at one time. Service was also good, place is highly recommended!
Always full during the lunch breaks, and you have to wait for max 15 min, but worth each minute of waiting! Delicious pastas! The food arrives always swiftly if you take one of the daily specials (different pastas, changing every day, also a mix of 2 or 3 different pastas). Reservations only accepted for 8+.
The owner fitted us in without a reservation on a Friday evening on the proviso he could have the table back in two hours - no problem we were happy to comply with this. The pasta dishes were the best we have ever had. The place was full and very lively making a great atmosphere. We would definitely return to...

Small permanent card and a list of delicious suggestions. I recommend the mixed antipasti to start with. For antipasti, vino della casa, water, 2 main dishes and coffees we paid only 70 euros, meaning great value. Only minus is the lightening and accoustics. Not really appropriate for romintic dining.
