I had dinner some days ago in the specific restaurant. The interior looks nice but not too folk/African - I would say it is neutral in decoration. The waiter was really kind and spoke English (we had a bad experience in another restaurant) and the food arrived shortly. My lamb was almost raw; I know that in some countries meat... More

For the food and service I would give 4 stars but given that I almost stopped by at MC Donalds half an hour later and I am not much of an eater, I give 3 stars.

I've been here recently with other 5 friends. It was the first time for me in an African restaurant. The dishes are extremely nice, very good cooked and the bananas as side dish are delicious. Unluckily they do not have almost any (only 1 bottle) of African wine or local spirits. Service it's messy. We ordered A / B and... More

Very tasty food for low prices, 12€ average for the main course. Different kinds of drinks and meals to be chosen. I live close and eat there often.

Cheap, tasty, casual, packed with locals, attracted by warm welcoming ambiance. Flavours are unusual and the prices a bargain

L'Horloge du Sud is very informal restaurant with good, basic African dishes. I liked the food very much, but also go for the music and atmosphere of the place -- the patrons and the musicians really make this place come alive.
