My girlfriend and I stumbled across this place by chance when trying to find places in Brussels since she moved there. That was a little less than a year ago and we still frequently go here. The food is delicious and plentiful for the price that you pay, the service is swift and friendly and welcoming, and that goes for... More

Their slogan is 'dedicated to urban conviviality'. Located on the corner with multicultural Chaussee de Wavre, full of African businesses, I decided to lunch en Afrique, It's years since I worked in Mali and in any case the owner is from Senegal. I had Yassa au poisson (€10), white sea fish served "avec un marinade de citron vert, d'oignons et... More

This was a really nice surprise. After a day of meetings at the EC, we went to this restaurant which was advised to me a colleague from Brussels. Good atmosphere, very good food, not a fancy place but authentic.

In a city full of typical Belgian Bars L'horloge du sud stood out. An African themed restaurant with good tasty food and a great selection of beers. Friendly and attentive staff, despite the fact they were about to close when we arrived

We went with some friends and colleagues to have an exotic yet chilled evening, and it was amazing. The food was delicious, I can recommend the fish with vegetables and spices wrapped in a banana leaf, and in the late evening there was even a live band playing. I had an excellent evening!

A very good place to taste african food in Brussels - perhaps not the best in town, but at a very reasonable price, and with a good selection of meals. Cocktails are also excellent. And friendly people - ask for the owner "Ken" is he is around, he will certainly give you some info on the meals. The place is... More

I had dinner some days ago in the specific restaurant. The interior looks nice but not too folk/African - I would say it is neutral in decoration. The waiter was really kind and spoke English (we had a bad experience in another restaurant) and the food arrived shortly. My lamb was almost raw; I know that in some countries meat... More
