If you like tripe and offal that's your place -

It is a nice place, the atmosphere in the back yard was wonderfull. The service was correct and quick. They have a limited menu, most of it dedicated to tripes and offal, but you can also have various "normal" butcher and tipical belgium dishes.I had a lamps kidney salad that was amazing. I also... read more

Not only was the service poorly, no feeling with the client, but worst, the food was terrible. On the menu was written home made fresh french fries, well you have to be carrefull not to break your teeth, The stew was discusting, and when we made a remark about it, they did not appoligies at all altough they knew they... It used to be such a nice restaurant but it lost all it's charm. New owners & new staff treat you without respect and they cannot even explain what's on their menu. Very slow service, we had to be there at 7.30 for the first shift, received the menu 20' later and could finally order (after calling the waitress at... More

I visited the place for a first time and was nicely surprised by the atmosphere of the former butchery and the typical Belgian dishes. Good value for money and nice ambiance.

Coming here with colleagues, I can tell you how that at least once (every month) you must come here if you are a real meat lover ! Don't be in a rush and don't look for impeccable service, you won't get it... But The food is amazing - this is the place to be for real meat lovers, most of... More

This is an offal restaurant. If you don't like offal, then please don't go. You won't enjoy it much. I'm surprised by the comments about the service - I found the service to be very good and friendly. I suspect they may be exasperated by people who take one look at the menu and you 'eeeeuch'. I had lambs' tongues... More

this place has completely lost its charm since it has been taken over by the new owners (french &swiss) who have no feeling for what this place, typical brussels, butchers specialilties, stands for. it might be true that parisan waiters are arrogant, but please stay in paris and don't spoil the friendly brussels atmosphere.

My husband and I ate here based on the excellent reviews. I'm not sure if there was loss in translation or if the waiter was just blunt, but we didn't feel very welcome. This place really is for those with a want for "specialty meats" aka liver, brain, tongue. We got the only two items that were "normal"- beef stew... More

One would think that a place where they have had two servings for years, at 19.30 and 21.30, would be organised in a away to be able to serve all people who obviously come at the same time to dine. Well, not in this place! The food was nice. However, a very rude weiter who would not apologise for not... More

There's something about walking into a restaurant and being instantly told off that really spoils the pleasure of dining out. We'd long wanted to try this place and arrived admittedly late for the first service at 7:30pm. But there are ways to let diners know that they will have slightly less time for their supper than by being told off... More
