Returned a year later and had another enjoyable evening. Good ambience, no pressure to leave, interesting well cooked food and attentive service. Will definitely return when next in Brussels

My friend and I were driving from Amsterdam to Paris and we stopped by Brussels for lunch, fortunately, we chose a random rest from the menu and good God the food, the service & everything was just perfect... I hope this is not my last visit to Brussels. Recommended.
My boyfriend and I had dinner at Henri on our first night in Brussels after reading the reviews on tripadvisor. The restraint itself is lovely, very spacious, good modern decor, great lighting. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted and taken to our table. One of the waiters translated the entire menu into English for us as our French is poor,...

Very nice brasserie food with today's twist. Friendly staff in trendy-ish setting. well prepared dishes with top ingredients and a surprising touch eg the tuna sashimi; the beef, fois gras, truffle marbled carpaccio, etc Just the kind of place for the Dansaert quartier.
...but if that ONE dish is anything to go by (and it seems like it is), the restaurant is fantastic. The one dish was scallops seared with black pudding and served in a parlsey root puree. Truly extraordinary!!!
This is the way a restaurant should be: fantastic food and wines, very friendly, correct but in the same time relaxed service, people who speak Dutch as well as French, a nice atmosphere. A place where we'll definitely return!
We've had dinner at Henri for about 5 times now and the quality of the food remains perfect. The starters such as sashimi, carpaccio marbled with foie gras & truffle, risotto with mussels were stunning and so were the main dishes. And about the desserts ? Alice in Wonderland ! Our company had the traditional Dame Blanche with freshly homemade...

Belgian kitchen with lots of classical dishes. Raw meat was excellent. Freshly made and good home made french fries, selfmade mayonaise. Just the way it should be. Prices are ok, service is better than you'll get in most restaurants in Brussels. It seems that regular customers are treated bettter.
Been here several times. Food is always both excellent and creative. Nice atmosphere, professional staff. Comes with a price.
A very nice place, atmosphere was relaxed and food was good. We ate sashimi as a starter, which was an excellent choice. Also scallops and lamb as main courses were perfect. Organic dry rose wine from Albet i Noya was recommend, and matched the food very nicely.
