Dining at kokob is like traveling to Ethiopia. The service is attentive and they propose a nice selection of specialities that you eat with your hands,

We were a group of 4, firts timers here. Kokob is a very cozy restaurant, with warm colors everywhere but tables way to close to the next one. The concept is good, we really liked food and it was fun to discover Ethiopian cuisine but one you order your food, be ready to wait, and wait, and keep waiting. It's... More

Came on a recommendation. None of our party of six had eaten Ethiopian before so were looking forward to the meal. Waitress was pleasant and took the time to explain the concept of how food would be served etc. We had the chefs recommended two meats and three veg dishes served with a 'spongy' pancake which is used to pick... Service was good and ambience good. However, I found the food to be rather tasteless for my liking. Different and great idea to experience another culture's food, but I wouldn't go back. A couple of our party did enjoy the food, so maybe try for yourself at least.

Took my friends here for my birthday and we loved it. It was my 2nd time there but my friends have never been Food is great but since the plate is to share (dont want to write how it is served as it is written 100times) make sure that you pick up different types of meat and/or combine it with... Spent a very pleasant evening in kokob with a group of four. The cuisine was delicious. We had the sharing plate for four and it was high in quality and a very relaxed and inclusive way to enjoy dinner. Thumbs up for service and atmosphere!

This was our first experience with Ethiopian food, and we loved it. Plenty of good tastes, large portions and tasteful Ethiopian beer. Would really recommend trying the plate with chef's choices.

Before visiting I've heard and read lots of positive reviews about this place, so I guess my expectations were too high. Let me start with positive things: the atmosphere is indeed nice and personnel is friendly. You also get a free special cocktail and a small starter. The style of eating has been described numerous times, so I won't repeat)... More

Hello Kat, Thanks for your review. We appreciate it. Sorry, you didn't enjoy your dish at KoKoB. We've got quite a large selection of vegetarian dishes that may have pleased you. The way we cook at KoKoB is the ethiopian way, with spices imported from ethiopia, so it's really close to what you can eat over there. Our chef Heria... More

Very nice place, very good food that seems to be close to the real Ethiopian cuisine. You can see in the kitchen from some of the tables. The staff was also very nice. Moreover, the price was really ok; 55€ for two people.
