What can I say about this place. Simply amazing. The food , the staff and the ambiance. I have been there several times and it still amazes me to go there.
The food is finger-licking good and leaves you filling wonderful afterwards. The price/quality is spot on, location is central and the interior is pleasant. The only negative is the sometimes spotty service, some of the waiters can be a bit haughty... but for us it's all about the delicious food which brings us to this place once a month on... More
Perfect place for a dinner with friends. Great food to share and a knowleadgeable staff. I highly recommend visiting Kokob!
Friendly service in an informal atmosphere. Sharing platter gave it an interesting twist. Food is good. Worth and evening out but remember to book for the evenings, particularly if are a large party like ours.
I've been to Kokob a while ago and was not really astonished about the food. I don't mind the "sharing a plate" concept or fingerfood, but I wish the food would have been more pleasing. Service was not really enjoyable, pity.
Went here on a Saturday night and was very busy which is always a good sign. The sharing element from a big tray/plate is an enjoyable and fun experience, especially if you are in a group. One of the best restaurants in Brussels. Food is great, with a wide variety of dishes also for vegetarians. All the dishes are served in a big plate and shared by all guests. I personally prefer to go with a group of friends rather than in couple because I then have more dishes to taste. Desserts are good, too (but... More
It was a truly fun experience eating with the hands. We went some colleagues and had a great night. We had welcome drink and 2 different appetizers before the main venue - the large pancake with different dishes on top that we should eat with pancake pieces using our hands.
Great for a different experience and to try something new. The food was amazing. The menu includes a meal for 2 or more chosen by the chef, which in my case was perfect since I don't know anything about Ethiopian food. The dishes brought were meat and vegetarian which was a good balance and I even got to taste an... More
Sharing the food with the others and eating with hands was something different and also delicious. I've never been to Ethiopian restaurant before, so I have nothing to compare with, but I really enjoyed! Try this after eating too much mussels and waffles!
