Great atmosphere, good food and helpful waiting staff

This was my first experience of African food. I was not disappointed. The restaurant is clean, well furnished, rustic and has a good atmosphere. Our waitress showed us how to roll the pancakes? with our chosen dishes using our hands. There are no knives and forks to eat with. The food was tasty and... read more

African food at its best , do go for the suggestions of the staff . We all had some thing different , this gave us the chance to test most of the dishes . All tested good to vary good , the price is a bit high . But I no not mind if we get new sensations .

Fine restaurant. First time I tasted Ethiopian food. Nice experience to eat with only your hands. The prices are not cheap but acceptable. The restaurant was very loud, also because there were a lot of people.

My friend and I landed here, without knowing the place and we were very ! The service was very friendly, the waiter helped us with choosing from the menu and even showed us how to eat like a real Ethiopian! Sharing a big plate is very nice concept when you're with some people. We loved the dinner, the food tasted... More

FYI: Black gay men are not welcomed. Went to Brussels for this weekend. I have loved Ethiopian food since my University days in Washington D.C.. I was pleasantly surprised to see this restaurant while walking down the street. So I walked in and asked if I could be seated. An ethnic-Ethiopian waitress tried to be helpful. The restaurant was at... More

We stayed in Brussels for two nights and had no idea where to go for dinner so we checked out reviews for nearby restaurants and found Kokob, which sounded interesting. We'd never had Ethiopian food before, so we weren't sure what to expect or what to order. The waiting staff were really helpful in giving us advice, firstly on what... More

The dining experience was great, all of us eating off a plater was a different experience. The staff was very friendly and attentive. They made great suggestions about the menu. The food was tasty, exactly what you would expect in an Ethiopian restaurant. We had to wait for a long time to find a table, unfortunately we couldn't book in... More

I had never tasted Ethiopian cuisine, and I really loved my first try! Good service, and various choices. We took the discovery menu and were not disappointed. I even had the first bite through the traditional way, from my wife's hand. Do not hesitate to ask additional spice if you like it real strong.

A good Ethiopian restaurant in the heart of Brussels. The food was reasonable in both quality and cost. We visited the restaurant during the heat wave in Brussels and the temperatures inside the restaurant was quite high. The service can be somewhat spotty.
