Ethiopian experience - ever heard of the word injera?

Injera is a sour flatbread used to scoop up meat and vegetable stews which is normally spongy. If you are looking for a different restaurant from the typical ones you normally go to, this is the one you should keep in mind. The food is delicious and the experience of eating with your hands, is... read more

It is an authentic ethopian place. This means you eat delicious food wrapped in slices of kind of sour pancake with your fingers. The meals are only spicy in you like. You should make a Reservation

I've meant to dine here for sometime! Quite a large place & full on a Saturday night - a young crowd ( students, 20-30s) - serves Ethopian cuisine, meat & vegetarian dishes. 4 of us ordered 5 msin dishes which we plonked down on a huge communal pancake. The eating is then done by hand everyone dipping in & picking... More

I love this restaurant!! The food is supurb, very tasteful. The atmoaphere very cool and comfort. Stuff very polite and helpful. There is something different with this restaurant.. you have to eat with your hand..and the first bit has to be given from another person not alone... I totaly enjoy my night there

English at the end j'ai testé une gastronomie exotique, à manger avec les doigts. Attention cela peut être épicé :-) If you want try exotic food, come here. And have clean fingers :-) Be careful it could be spicy

Great staff and food. We tried the taster and we wanted to switch from 3 meat and 3 veg to all veg. They did so and even offered to just do one meat and 5 veg. The food was great and we were lost but the staff were more than happy to guide you. I will be going back here... More

The food at this centrally located Ethiopian restaurant is incredibly delicious!!! There are a variety of dishes and it's possible to try many different ones withe the special 'menu' where you can choose the amount of food you want to eat :)

This place is absolutely fantastic! The atmosphere is more than great, the food is amazing, tasty and it comes in big portions. Everything here is made to be shared. The food comes in a big metal plate in a number of small piles with everything that has been ordered. The rest of the food is kept aside in bowls and... More

If you like Ethiopian food (which can be a bit special but definitively need a try) you will like this restaurant. Food is very good and service very nice. You will eat with your hand as you can expect in any Ethiopian restaurant. It's a bit pricy (~30e / person seems a minimum) but it's worth the price

We go to Kokob from time to time, food is always nice and atmosphere is enjoyable, but sometimes too noisy (ask to have a table in the rear for a quiet place). However last time we had the impression that the menu choice was somehow smaller, and we had a hard time finding our way out the "carte". Also I... More
