We sought this out and foolishly didn't make a reservation. We bowled on up at 9.30 and were told by the super helpful front of house that if we could come back in an hour or so (it's open late), then they'd get us a table. This must demonstrate how popular it is, as it is a large space, with... More

This restaurant was recommended by a friend of ours who is actually from Brussels. We reserved a table well in advance since we heard that it is quite popular. We managed to get a nice table in the back. Where it is quieter than in the front. In the beginning we got a welcome drink very nice. The menu is... More

The staff are incredible - they were so accommodating, particularly with regard to my gluten allergy. The food is outstanding! Very fresh and tasty - and the waitress was so friendly! I would highly recommend this place, though make a reservation on a Saturday night for sure.

If you're visiting Brussels, do your homework on where to eat otherwise you'll end up paying way over the odds for poor quality food. Kokob should definitely be on your list if you fancy something a little different from the norm. Now I've never had the pleasure of visiting Ethiopia, unlike seemingly so many people on here, so I can't... More

Alltogether a pleasant experience. Took the "discovery menu for 2" with all non-spicy dishes - all of them were nice, some of them even excellent. The thing we appreciated most was the fact that our 3-year old daughter was also having fun and gulping down the food! As for kids, there is also a small bookshelf with comics and travel... More

Went for the second time with friends on Sunday. Free welcome drink and little cup of pea soup. Food was very good and service attentive. Would definitely recommend!

We didn't know what to expect and were impressed. So much flavour, helpful staff and a great atmosphere. Good prices too!

Good surroundings for the most expensive Ethiopian food I've ever eaten. Food fine but not the best. Irritated also by lack of tap water despite big bill as not available because it is taxed. Oddly enough this wasn't an issue anywhere else we ate - perhaps we were lucky. If you're ok with a sanitised Ethiopian experience then a great... More

I really liked this place and was pleasantly surprised how full it was with a younger international crowd. The food was good at affordable prices. You should be expected to share a dish with your friends and to eat the food with your hands, even though your hands don't touch the food since you use injera (a teff pancake) to... More

What can I say about this place. Simply amazing. The food , the staff and the ambiance. I have been there several times and it still amazes me to go there.
