We tried this restaurant with my friends and overall it was good but I not of my favourites. They gave a good service and they give you a good explanation of the Ethiopian cuisine. So you go for their dish of 5 different small portions in one plate. And of course there typicall "pancake" you have to eat with your fingers... More

If you fancy trying exotic flavours, that’s the place for you. It was the first time we went eating Ethiopian, and it has been a nice discovery. You can try single dishes, although it may be better to go for the menu, if you wish having a broader glance of Ethiopian cuisine. All dishes are served with a typical, slightly... More

Friends took us to dinner here. We had never eaten Ethiopian food before, but our friends did. One of us was vegetarian. We had the Discovery menu of 25 euros per person. This means that the chef makes something for you. You can order vegetarian food, fish or make it spicy: they adapt according to your taste. Everything came in... More

I came there with a friend after hearing a lot about it from other people. Was not disappointed at all. Very cozy and local atmosphere and excellent food quality. Friendly waiters and reasonably swift service. Also, an excellent concept of service, where diners learn about the food traditions of Ethiopia. It is not only a delicious dinner but an unforgettable... More

We were a group of 4, firts timers here. Kokob is a very cozy restaurant, with warm colors everywhere but tables way to close to the next one. The concept is good, we really liked food and it was fun to discover Ethiopian cuisine but one you order your food, be ready to wait, and wait, and keep waiting. It's... More

Came on a recommendation. None of our party of six had eaten Ethiopian before so were looking forward to the meal. Waitress was pleasant and took the time to explain the concept of how food would be served etc. We had the chefs recommended two meats and three veg dishes served with a 'spongy' pancake which is used to pick... Service was good and ambience good. However, I found the food to be rather tasteless for my liking. Different and great idea to experience another culture's food, but I wouldn't go back. A couple of our party did enjoy the food, so maybe try for yourself at least.

Took my friends here for my birthday and we loved it. It was my 2nd time there but my friends have never been Food is great but since the plate is to share (dont want to write how it is served as it is written 100times) make sure that you pick up different types of meat and/or combine it with... Spent a very pleasant evening in kokob with a group of four. The cuisine was delicious. We had the sharing plate for four and it was high in quality and a very relaxed and inclusive way to enjoy dinner. Thumbs up for service and atmosphere!
