I was initally suspicious about the Ethiopian restaurant where you eat with bare hands (though fork and knife is an option). But the atmosphere and service was great and I enjoyed the food. Don't be afraid of the spicy dishes, try the lamb. More

Had an excellent veggie meal here at a very reasonable price. I'm sure the meat dishes were good too. Recommended. More

Right next to the city centre, this is a great place to eat if you enjoy sharing. Eatting with hands is definitely a great experience for those who have never tried before. The food is really good and the price definitely affordable. 100% recommended. By the way, do not forget to book a week in advance, it's always full! More

I've been to a small number of Ethiopian restaurants, exclusively in DC, and generally like the food. I saw this place mentioned in an online article about things to do in Brussels, so I checked it out. What was strange was that they insisted upon a reservation, even for lunch, so I booked one for dinner. While they placed me... More

The food is great, but that's not the best part. For me what makes the experience of eating there so special is the way they serve it. All dishes ordered at the same table are served together in a big round pankake like bread, and more of the same bread is served for you to pick up the food with,... More

We landed on this place after we had headed to another on the same street but was closing. So lucky! Great service really attentive, very clear on instructions on how to eat (with fingers) and what each dish was. Really good value for money even with the shocking exchange rate currently! We need one of these near us! Franchise! :) More

I visited this establishment on Monday 12 December 2011 with a big group of 18 persons for an office dinner. The contacts with the restaurant in the days before had been ok and all seemed to be in place for a good evening among friends. The members of the group had all arrived by 8.30pm so we gave the order... More

I quite liked this ethipian restaurant in downtown Bruxelles. I found the food very good but I have also to say that my girlfriend did not like it so much. Indeed, food is very particular and unusual. A little bit heavy and spiced. In my opinion, however, worth trying. The way to eat it (with the typical ethipiona pancakes) is... More

It was surely not the first time we came in Kokob, nicely situated in the heart of town. We were lucky this time, as mostly the restaurant is always fully booked. Very popular indeed and that's for a reason. This restaurant offers nice ethiopian cuisine, one of the best in the African continent. We took the discovery menu out of... More
