The food was really good, and the staff helpful, explaining the choices we had, and replying to all our questions. Good price, food for sharing in a group so that you can experiment their qreat variety of interesting fillings for the pancake you use instead of cuttlery.

First time trying ethiopian food, and not disappointed at all ! We took a mix of vegetables and meats and it was awesome. So great to finally eat food with your fingers and nobody to take an awkward look at you. Service was pretty great, the waiter gave us nice advices of which meal to take and which wine to... More

It's painful to see my favorite restaurant gradually dying a slow death. last time I was there the food was bland and tasteless. The waiter was really pushy on the wine selection.

Opted for the Discovery menu on recommendation and it didn't disappoint! As one of us was vegetarian, they actually gave us an extra dish free. Following the demonstration by our dedicated waiter, we tucked into the lovely and varied food. Although it's 'Ethiopian' many of these dishes are reminiscent of an Indian Thali (including the dosa style bread) and probably... More

For me the answer was no, i never tried ethiopian kitchen before. And the result was remarkable. Good food, good beers, you are still in Belgium, happy atmosphere. We were three, just one said food wasn't salted. Price is right, you can't exit hungry. Deserves a chance.

In a city which has some of the best eating houses in Europe, Kokob stands out as being unusual in offering authentic Ethiopian food at extremely reasonable prices. The restaurant itself is extremely airy, with a lovely laid-back ambience, featuring exposed brickwork and ethnic art. Most of the dishes are most-appetising curry-style stews, served with a doughy flat-bread and cheese,... More

I love this restaurant but having visited this time on Valentine's Day I have to say I was disappointed with the service. Very slow... Plus-they tried to make us pay our bill (which was hadn't requested) whilst waiting for the coffees! The woman was quite rude and the next table actually intervened on our behalf and explained that was were... More

Interesting Etheopian cuisine. Select dishes that are then served on shared plate with Etheopian bread and eaten with the fingers. Some nice deserts also. We had the more expensive wine at E24 a bottle and then paid E60 for three of us so it will not break the budget. Better if you can speak some French.
