I used to go there several times a week with clients and collegues when I worked in the neighbourhood. Never ever a disappointment. Most of the staff has been there for several decades (some over 30 years), which is a rare thing. It has a good wine selection, and regularly new dishes on the menu. Service is efficient and very... Really lovely interior - very old fashioned bistro atmosphere. Cosy with dark wood paneling and mirror. The menu is entirely in French, so if you don't understand French you're in trouble. Unfortunately they didn't have the squid (due to non delivery) so I had the Langoustine salad which comprised of only 3 Langoustine with lots of french beans. This was... More

We were referred to this restaurant by our hotel and guide. The food and service was excellent (they speak English and an English menu is available). I would definitely go again.

Good classic Belgium food with a slight French twist....authentic bistro ambience. Wait staff were old pros with a dry sense of humor.

I really enjoy the old-schoolness of the interior, it really transports you back in time. The food is delicious, but pricy but for me the atmosphere makes up for it.

Great service. I echo another review with "Rough and ready seating". I would say this restaurant is best in a group and less so as a couple. Very good food though

I first went to L'Ogenblik about 20 years ago and was won over by the stripped down, timeless charm of the interior and the simple but generous and well-executed cooking. For me, it remained an oasis of excellence in a tourist trap area, but a recent visit after an absence of several years makes me fear that even this bastion... More

Excellent service. Rough and ready seating. Wonderful fish starters, averagely good bouillabaisse main course and disappointing dessert. Definitely one to revisit and take friends to for the atmosphere. Pricey - but then almost everything in Brussels is, so definitely competitive. Overall a nice experience.

The usual good food, superb service, which makes this plave our favourite one. But hope you are in good shape to climb the stairs to the restrooms....

Food here is good, but far from justifying it's price tag. The menu is quite extensive, which might contribute to overpricing and to the mediocracy of some dishes. And when you charge 5€ for a drink (a small, normal tap beer), you usually end up in my book as a tourist-trap (which is also how we've heard some locals refer... More
