Love it

Amazing and quiet restaurant, with an intimate decoration. Loved the risotto, the service and the restaurant placement (in the center of Brussels).

I just had dinner here with a large-ish group of colleagues and could not have been happier with my meal. Everyone else liked theirs as well. I had the smoked tuna tataki starter (three slices of perfectly seared smoked tuna with soy-based sauce and a small bunch of cucumbers and greens on the side) and the fish "en papillote" with... This place has been a hit for over 3 decades, and never went down. Situated in the heart of old gastronomic Brussels, in the typical pedestrian area, at the entrance of one of the world's most beautiful old covered gallery, this typical brasserie serves the best of Belgian and french food the most" brasserie-way" you can imagine. The boys are... More

In the middle of Brussels Centre, in gallery de Princes, 24 of us stumbled into this lovely and very small restaurant. We had a reservation of course and the people told us we could eat a la carte, but seeing this large a group they decided to limit the carte to 3 options per course. All the plates of a... More

My friend who accompanied me eats there at least once a month and the staff was really friendly and helpful. The food was perfectly presented and prepared and the location is great. It was a full restaurant, so we were directed upstairs until a table opened up and we were seated as quickly as was practical. I really enjoyed the... More

I had dinner with my wife last night Friday February 6th, 2015 at Café Restaurant de l'Ogenblik (meaning "The moment" in Flemish), huddled on two levels in the classical Galeries Royales St Hubert. This venerable gastronomic institution has been there for 45 years and has been under the same management for the last 40 years. It caters to a crowd... More

I have been coming here for about 10 years and it never disappoints. Although the prices are somewhat on the higher end, the food is fresh, rich and abundant. Clearly, they specialize in sea food althought the meat and poultry is pretty good as well. Wine list has a good choice of white and red bourgogne as well as other... More

This bistro used to be an institution. The setting is adorable and I was excited to bring a foreign client here. Truly disappointed: Service was not attentive and food was really average: I boasted on our "croquettes aux crevettes" but they were far too dry! The tuna as a main was not a good choice either: tasteless! Regretfully, I won't... More

This is a wel know place by real Brussels people and it is not just a torist place even if it is just few steps from Grand Place. Waiters unfriendly (Welcome in Belgium!!) they do not deserve any tip but food is really good, It is a French like food not very heavy and quite "mediterranean" not a cheap place.... More

Interior, service, food all close to the pinnacle of Belgian bistro cuisine. Some timeless dishes, excellent ingredients. Busy, professional kitchen. Also worth trying for Pigeon torte, or some of the fish plates (ie, trio de poisson tartare) Head and shoulders above every other Belgian restaurant in the center of town. Worth the little extra for a big jump in quality.... More
