One of the best places in Brussels to enjoy a cigar ...

Other reviews have concentrated on the food/ambiance/toilets upstairs but this one raves about the well-stocked bar and the good selection of cigars downstairs. We had late dinner with a group of 20 people. Building and decor are really worth the visit. You can visit the bar down below where you can see all the safes that are still there. The building housed a bank once. Service was very good and attentive. We had an anniversary to celebrate and staff did all they could... More

The building and interior is really memorable. The food was rather good. Recommend: creme brulé (enough for two, it's really big portion). Do not recommend: waffles (the ones from the streets are so much better).

The setting is special and beautiful, but noisy, as others have mentioned. The menu looks very good, but expensive, unless you go for the set menus. The waiters seem to be rather not interested in their clients - you have to wait long for their service once seated, and when you remind them politely that you are in the room,... More

Been here a few times but food is average, drink is overpriced and beautiful room gets extremely noisy. Aimed at business people not paying the bill themselves. Staff can be rather not interested.

Don't let yourself be fooled with the grandiose milieu of this restaurant. Unless you have reserved, the waiting time is minimum one hour. In the meantime they offer you a seat in a bar where the barman does not know the difference between a bowl of soup and a glass of sauvignon blanc...When finally seated it's hard to hear your... One of the most beautiful restaurants I have ever visited. As you walk on the left they have a very smart looking oyster bar. Continue on an you enter the vaulted ceilings restaurant with stained glass. The atmosphere is hip and trendy as the wait staff uniforms. Even the bathroom are hip. The service is as good as the food... More
