Perfect Anniversary Setting

Perfect ambiance, impeccable service, good wine list. We went for the seafood plateau which was very richly endowed and enjoyed it immensely. Definetly recommend it for important days to become memorable.

I finally ate at beautiful Belga Queen on Graslei in Gent. It's in one of the oldest guild houses on the canal. Stunningly beautiful, big comfy chairs, exposed beams, giant windows. The wait staff, young men, in very odd-shaped white aprons are harried and breathing hard, rushed and distracted. It was Sunday evening. What happens on Saturday nights??? The napkins... More

Thursday evening it was very busy, which means we ended up on a coffee table type of setting, not too great to settle properly. That means people are too far from each other and then speak too loud and the noise level is almost unbearable - fortunately there's no music to add to the pain. The menu is very much... More

Belga Queen is a busy, sparkling restaurant. It's crowded every night because it's so good. Food is excellent, service is fast, and the setting is an amazing place. It was a fun place when it opened 13 years ago, and doesn't feel as if it's aged a day since. Still a very good place to go for a celebration or... More

Arriving at this restaurant it really has a wow factor with a huge statement horse covered in the names of famous Belgians and a beautiful look about the place. The beer taster menu was good and reasonably well priced. It was good to have the option of more reasonably priced sample menus and not feel you have to wade through... More

We went Saturday to dinner, visiting Brussels we decided to try, and was soo good, the quality of products is top, and razonable prices, the wine for 31€ was perfect for seafood, not usually, other 2 places we had to go to 45€, and was much worst place... A lot of good things came to us in the table. The... More

Visited this restaurant last night with my wife, started with drinks at the bar which the lady in the restaurant wasn't happy about, sat down and waited 20 mins to be served , we shared a starter of salad with foie gras, smoked salmon and ham, quite tasty. I had the steak rare for a main which was cold when... More

So many positives for the Queen Belga. The service was 5 star, very attentive and friendly. The dining room is spectacular and the frosted doors in the bathroom worth a visit by themselves. Fresh oysters followed by the tenderloin left me full and content, this is 5 star dining in a cool, trendy restaurant. Highly recommended!

What's not to like. The food is fabulous, the service is faultless, the restaurant is quirky and worth a visit just to play with the now you see me now you don't toilets! Has a good range of menu options from seafood plates to die for to light bites at good prices. Recommend without a second thought.
