Incredible place, a bit too tight

I loved the place and the food there. However, you feel packed when you are inside. I was there with a gang of 16 people and we enjoyed everything very much. However, although the weather was fresh outside, it was hot inside...

Good atmosphere and service. Lovely food and at a good value. We had sea bass and chicken stuffed with cheese.

Coming here we had low expectations as the reviews were very average but I wanted to take my husband here because I knew he would enjoy the decor and the oyster bar. This place is great if you want to eat at a historic setting and if you're into oysters. The oysters were fresh and they offered a decent selection... More

Bad quality food, expensive and not very friendly staff. I would not repeat the experience. I expected much more.

We visited this restaurant already twice in one month. We like the atmosphere and the setup. The restaurant is on 3 levels and modt of the tables for 2 are located on the second and third floor looking down into the main hall. You sit in internal balconies. The place is very busy and service is very professional. We tried... More

It is a pretty brasserie with a lot of character, but like all brasseries it can get noisy when busy, which is part of the charm. The dishes are tasty and the prices reasonable. But do arrive early for your meal if driving, as parking can be difficult.

Excellent food, great ambience, friendly staff. Good selection of wines and food. Highly recommend the salmon tataki and roasted lobster.

Nice restaurant, friendly staff. However, the pace was somewhat surprising. We had negotiated a working lunch in the lounge. I expected some access. The waitress was served really slowly, until after the third warning only slightly quickened. I was a little confusion about serving. Maybe I assigned more people. Nobody nedoléval wine, offered no water. Only once at the beginning.

By coincidence we ate at La Quincaillerie on two consecutive nights. The first was with friends and the second as part of a large group of business associates. The business event, on a Sunday evening, had a set menu for in excess of 40 people. I don't think catering to large groups with fixed menu's is the restaurant's forte. The... More

I love the interior of this place, and really enjoy the sister restaurant in Ghent. We came here with my partner and her mother, and we all got the menu, and the food was excellent. I had one of the brown house beers, and it is one of the best I've tasted in Belgium! The service was also very attentive.... More
