We both chose the 3 course €29 menu. The starter was superb, as was the main course. Dessert was also lovely. We very much enjoyed sitting on the first floor balcony which, as well as feeling cosy and private, affords a great view of the restaurant below. Loved the decor.

I last came here over 10 years ago and have avoided it since then. The mixed reviews about service, etc supporting my mixed views. Well, we just returned to celebrate a birthday with 3 family generations and was very pleasantly surprised. 6 of us squeezed into the 'box' on the 1st floor. Service was very attentive throughout by our serveuse... More

The place is still beautiful. Service is still excellent. The food less so. It is not bad, but definitely nothing to write home about. The prices have not followed the same downward trend, far from it.

We arrived 1pm saturday, a party of 3. An english speaking waiter seated us. We had the 13euro business lunch, the duck and trout starters were great but the six oysters, washed down with a glass of champagne was amazing. The turkey main was tasty but averages the fish croquettes were over oily and tasteless why put hot food on... More

Brussels is a city of great food, so how La Quincaillerie has survived is a mystery. The place is so beautiful that to eat so poorly there is almost a shock!

I came here on Tuesday night, you walk in and the place itself is really amazing and cool and different looking. A really great place to go for dinner with friends or on a date or with family or whoever as it is something different from the usual hundreds of average brasseries, simply based on its appearance. It was quite... More

Was recommended by the hotel we stayed in and I must say I was highly impressed. The balcony seats are very romantic and private suitable for couples or friends. Attentive service and delicious food. The goats cheese starter is among the best starters I have ever tasted.

Very good steak and salads, friendly staff, nice ambiance, in a former and antique shop with art deco interior design elements. A bit overpriced.
