Simply one of the best restaurants I have been to in the world

This is in my top 5, and I have been around. The place is great, service is on spot and on top of all the food is heavenly. From appetizers to desserts, all of our dishes where out of this world. It is expensive, but worth every cent (probably worth more). So for a fancy high end meal, do not... read more

Had the opportunity to have dinner with colleagues last week. The food is excellent and not too pricy - atmosphere great - service rapid and courteous. Not the best place for a romantic night as it can be busy and very noisy. Strongly recommend - can easily accomodate large group - consider reservation even during the week.

The food never disappoints, the atmosphere likewise. The staff are very sweet but perhaps a little inexperienced. Our party was seated at two separate tables for the first 30 mins and both groups thought they'd been stood up. This was dealt with admirably by the head waiter who gave us free glasses of champagne. However, the young waitress who brought... More

This place is full of character as it is an old hardware store turned into a nice restaurant, and preserves the old heritage - very nice decor inside. Located in the trendy Chatelain area of Brussels. Had the lobster bisque (very nice) followed by the Salmon (not bad). The winner was the dessert - the trio of chocolate mousse (excellent!).

This is a lovely restaurant with a modern, urban vibe in what used to be an old hardware store. Charm galore and a real attention to freshness and quality of food. Our service was more than a bit spotty, however. I saw them bring our entrees upstairs twice and start to head to our table until they realized that wed... More

We'd been to the restaurant before and always enjoyed the food. This time the food was good but the service was terrible. Wine we had ordered for the appetiser came only after the first course was already cleared, we had to pour our own wine and water, the spoon for the soup was brought only after the soup had already... I was taken here by a colleague and thankfully I am a fan of oysters and seafood. We all selected the Le Good Food Menu, which was a set menu for just under 30 euros. The oysters were good, the steak was also very tasty and the desert was ice cream. Service was very good and the local Principale brew... More

The place is quite small and restricted however it is a nice environment. Love the sea truffles and freshness of the crab.

Amazing experience even if it was a very busy night, being Valentine's day. The staff was very welcoming and very attentive to details. The food was excellent and well presented. We were amazed by the professionalism of the team; it was like watching a perfect choreography. A bit pricey but this is absolutely justified given the quality.

It proved kind of difficult to book a good restaurant in Brussels at the last minute on Valentine's Day. La Quincaillerie was a tip from a local and luckily, they could accommodate us. The place looks great (it was originally a hardware store, but a very posh one), the staff was friendly and the oysters to die for.
