Famous in Brugge for their espresso coffee drinks, pastries and elaborate ice cream desserts. It's a pleasant little spot to relax away from the crowds. Try the "Brugge Coupe". Big enough to share.

Living pretty close to this restaurant, we often take foreign visitors here due to the good selection of Belgian cuisine and beers. There's also some nice vegetarian dishes on the menu too. We've never once had a bad experience at this restaurant. Yes the service won't involve the waiter kissing your bottom since it is in Belgium but the food... More

Given that the restaurant is right up the street from where I usually stay in Brussels, I have often eaten here. Each time the service has been less than favorable. I sit down and wait for At least five minutes before I am attended to, whilst other patrons of a different shade are served. The food is decent, but need... More

The dish I ordered did not contain most of the ingredients as promised on the menu...The veggies were soaked in water and thus tasteless. The waiter was rude. The cook looked like a minor. The place is ok when just visited to have drinks but don't go there for the food!

We had lunch on Saturday. Restaurant was busy. We had steaks and Carbonnade (beef in Sauce). The staff were friendly but the food was nothing special. Located just beside Merode Metro.

I ate in this restaurant last week and I found this place very nice. I took an omelette with fromage and a salade and both were excellent. The restaurant is small but tidy, in addition the waitress was friendly and professional. The bill was acceptable, 35 euros for two people with three meals and beer and wine. I advise Carpe... More

The average Brussels visitor may not find Carpe Diem, and that's a shame. It is just beyond the Parc du Cinquantenaire, which we were staying close to, but it was a mixture of boredom and curiosity that took us beyond the Park into the nondescript street beyond. Located only a couple of hundred metres from the park, Carpe Diem is... More

It is a very good place to taste the typical Belgian cuisine, particularly noteworthy are the mussels. Nearby is a beautiful Park Cinquantenaire and the triumphal arch, which is worth seeing, if for the first time in Brussels. Restaurant is not in the center, but very easy to get there.

This is a relatively small restaurant, located outside of the city center, in Merode metro station. Food was mainly composed of typical Belgian specialities. The lunch I had in their outdoor terrace was very tasty and well presented. Service was good. The price was medium to high, as is the case for all similar restaurants in Brussels.

What I like is that you can go anytime, anyday. The kitchen closes late and whatever I ordered was always tasty. Not high class cuisine but very tasty belgium cuisine. Been there several time and never disapointed
