Such a cute little burger kitchen tucked away in a secluded spot behind grand place & the galleries. Happened to stumble across it & we were starving so popped in. The burgers are delicious...& gigantic. Made with real quality ingredients and cooked to perfection. Service was good and our waiter was really friendly. It is a bit pricey but no... More

The burgers are great. The owner is really helpful and went to find the Ketchup bottle so my husband could check for gluten/wheat in it. They have gluten free beer too. You need to book.

I am not a big burger fan but I must say that this restaurant really surprised me. With a very tasty meat and homemade bread, I strongly recommend it. Ideal for a night out friends, fun, good food, not complicated and not expensive.

The burger is delicious, great flavours mixed together. I also had a rib with fries and I can tell you the meat was one of the best I ever had. Nice people and clean place!

Stumbled in this restaurant in the very touristy town centre, looked smart and friendly with reasonable prices. Selected the monarch Lisa, my husband had the smack burger, on we're amazing, can't remember the last time a burger impressed me so much! The meat was great quality, without a single piece of hard gristle or chewy meat. The garnishes were all... More

The cool burger venue of Hemgies boosts of genuine service, which is hard to find in the heavily touristy food area; yet still tourist friendly with the menu available in several languages. Modest prices too considering the location and what could be considered the best burger house in Brussels! The modern day concept of larger than your mouth burgers is... More

Reserved a table (recommended) and enjoyed a nice dinner at Hemgie's. The burgers are really something special and the beer selection is different, with smaller producers, a nice change from the standard jupiler/leffe/hoegaarden. The patty was cooked to perfection, burgers and beers for 2 cost around 36€.

Having been on the search for a good burger for the past 2 years and having been disappointed by many restaurants serving burgers which were either too expensive and/or served poor quality/dry beef patties and/or paltry portions and/or lacklustre buns, I was stunned by the excellent burger that was served at Hemgie's. The homemade buns were nicely toasted, the beef... More

A friend booked this place for a Saturday night for 5 of us. Booking on a Saturday is essential as it is very popular and pretty small inside. The decor is modern, staff are friendly and the menu extensive. They go for interesting twists on traditional burgers, all served with delicious fries in a metal basket. The two times I've... More
